"It seems to be like a Sunset institution--I remember coming here in the early 90s when it first opened and it's been ages since I've eaten here. Not sure if there's been any change in ownership. It was crowded when we got there for a mid-week evening dinner; the tables were all occupied. The wait was brief--under 10 minutes--worth the wait. The prices are reasonable--you can order a 2 item combo for about $16-$18 it comes with a salad and miso soup. They have preset selections or you can make your own combo. We ordered teriyaki salmon entree, sukiyaki tempura combo, tuna roll and California roll, chicken teriyaki tempura combo. The combos are generous portions. My only complaint was the service, while they were good taking our orders, it took a long time before the orders for our table were completed. Some came sooner than others or only half of the combo was served while waiting for the other half. Overall, the food is still good after all these years. I definitely recommend coming to this neighborhood restaurant."
