"Our family of four visited Bluff City for the first time. The decor was very cool and the waiter and server were attentive and helpful in finding the menu. We started with a Caesar salad, coleslaw, BBQ wings, and shrimp and grits. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage and creamy grits. I also tried a wing and a small salad, both delicious. Unable to decide, I got the sampler which included Memphis style dry rubbed ribs, wet pulled pork, and a thick piece of brisket. The brisket was my favorite, but the ribs and pulled pork were close seconds. The sides were ordered separately - we had baked beans, roasted Brussels sprouts, fries, mac and cheese, and baked bread. My daughter, who loves cornbread, gave it a thumbs up! Our only regret was being too full for dessert, but we managed to share the banana foster with ice cream and brownie. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Memphis style BBQ with a touch of soul."
