"The server was very over saturated with tables. We waited quite a while before she stopped by, and again for water. She seemed totally happy and was very upbeat, very nice and congenial, but had to apologize constantly for being away so long. Our food took quite a while, and was good, except my daughter did not care for the root vegetable au gratin just wasn’t her taste. We got the famous coconut cake, which was delicious, and also the white chocolate creme brûlée, also excellent. Our first visit was not up to expectations, so maybe we will try again some other time to see if this was just a temporary occurrence."

I ended up getting the only vegetarian entree available a vegetable pasta and it was quite bland. The house salad was also mediocre. Unless the menu changes, we will not be back."

"Very disappointed in this place. Stayed at the Westin and requested food to be ordered to go. They very rudely asked if I was staying at the hotel as though no one who isn?t staying here can even get to go food because they?re operating understaffed. Paid $78 for a meal, requested a medium rare steak and it barely came out pink. Also slapped a room service charge on my account even though I went down to pick up the food. WHAT?! The least you can do is bring it to me if you?re going to charge me a fee for room service. Mediocre food very mediocre service. Do your self a favor and go anywhere besides here if you plan to stay on Jekyll island. Disappointed and as a Marriott vacation club owner I am embarrassed that they have this restaurant under their name. Spend your money elsewhere"

"My husband and I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Bleu. We had Crispy Calamari and Fried Brussel Sprouts tapas appetizers and a bottle of wine. Dinner for me was the Lump Crab Shrimp Cakes, he had the Grilled Mahi Mahi. Everything was delicious and the service is wonderful from the front door to the bar and wait staff. And to the heart of all fine dining...the kitchen. Cudos to the chefs. I highly recommend."

"I made reservations through Open Table, who the servers had no clue what Open Table is. The waitress must have just started that afternoon. We had to ask for napkins with our drinks. Two of the drinks had to be sent back--wrong drinks. When she brought out our food she asked if we needed any plates. Water glasses were 1-broken 1 dirty. It took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the restaurant was not busy. Very poor service for a Hilton property. We will not return."

Circa 81 is a quaint and charming restaurant. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The service was excellent. The food was top notch the brussel sprouts are amazing! Only order the half Chef’s Tour! An army couldn’t finish the full. We shared several plates! Definitely the way to do it. Stay away from the “large plates”. No need to dabble there! Stick with the specialty stick with the small plates and share around. You can place order after order and they keep coming reasonably priced around $10 per plate. I promise you’ll love it. They have the food for everyone from meat lover to vegan! Come give it a try you won’t be disappointed, I promise!!"
