"It was my first time to visit the Alcove, the order was quite amazing, but when I saw Matthew Modine there (not working the counter, grateful) my head filled with the theme of the movie, “Vision Quest”, and I could find out my order. I shared the Tiger Shrimp Salad on the crab cake sandwich with my friend, both were exceptional. You have dedicated a whole section of the menu on Eggs Benedict, which awakens my interest in return. The Panini, the breakfast and otherwise also looked amazing. Also the outdoor terrace is totally charming and ingenious."

"I'm new to Germany. I just reached about a month ago. And this is the first restaurant that I've been to. You need a an Antigen test to enter. The Cafe is just amazing. The quality of the food is mind blowing. The service was very efficient and friendly. The drinks were also pretty good. We ordered A curry wurst, some schnitzel, Pizza and more stuff. They were all exceptional. I was really impressed. For drinks we had 4 Long Island Iced teas. The bill was around 120 euros. I dunno if that's expensive or normal in Germany. It's definitely on the expensive side coming from India but it was totally worth it. My whole hearted recommendation"

"The worst customer service. I could not believe how rude the bartender is. We thought we come in and watch the ball game and get some dinner. 3 times we asked him to turn on ballgame. We were just about done before he turned it on. Do they need to have 20 tvs playing golf? I felt like the bartender was being spiteful. The music was way too loud for a dinner crowd. Decent food but it’s a shame the staff has no idea how to take care of customers."
