"One of Chinatowns best kept secrets till recently went to this restaurant 3 years back when the clientele was all Chinese and the menu was in Chinese too that has changed.... The soup dumplings are to die for ... Juicy and taut and bursts with flavor in ur mouth ... Don't go crazy when they bring the dumplings . Let it cool just a minute or two before u jump in.. U might burn ur lips I did The slow cooked pork tongpo pork is another signature here ...with steamed bread this dish is a delight the real thing as opposed to the momofuku pork buns at their outrageous prices Good lunch specials... Even general Tso chicken tastes different crispier than the run of the mill restaurants ..."

"Loved the soup dumplings and the pan-fried pork dumplings (which also seemed to be full of broth). I don’t know if it was always “New Shanghai” but seems to be all the same."
