"My review is more geared towards what our expectations were of the food we normally order vs how ours was prepared from here. Overall, we weren't thrilled with the way the food tasted by way it was prepared. It may be amazing for others, but it just wasn't for us. However, I do think the ingredients were fresh and I (and hopefully others) greatly appreciate that. We ordered nearly $200 in food to get a variety of things to eat. Some of the things were good, but others were just OK, or not great. Others may appreciate the tastes that we didn't like, but I would recommend ordering from here as a single meal for lunch or dinner here and there to see how their food tastes vs what you're used to. I would highly recommend you ask about how they prepare your favorite dishes before ordering so they can set your expectations of what it is you're getting. Some of the dishes we bought was more unique to what we traditionally get at other Chinese food places so you better ask a lot of questions before ordering. Great things about this place is that they used fresh ingredients, the front desk girl was very nice and patient with us taking our order and called to let us know the food was ready. And the restaurant was clean. We got ours for takeout. About the food we ordered.... The ok: Lo mein: tasted OK amd the noodles were good. I think there was a lack of taste in anything else that was also in it. Chicken wings: we expected naked wings deep fried in the peanut or sunflower oil with soy sauce. But we got fried battered wings. Not exactly what we were looking for from a Chinese food restaurant. But they tasted OK. They were fresh too so that's a plus. Egg rolls: We got pork egg rolls. They were good inside but the outer wrapping was chewy and crunchy at the same time. Felt like there was too much outside roll before getting inside. This may not be a bad thing as I'm sure there are some people out there who like that, but it didn't hit all the right buttons with us. Beef chop suey: it was OK, but mostly rather tasteless. The good: Fried dumplings Beef teriyaki sticks Boneless spareribs Fresh veggies ingredients. (huge plus) The bad: The beef meals were all like soupy and our expectation was that these were more like sauce than a broth. It may be a good idea if the restaurant asks you if you'd want it to be soupy or saucy. Also a good idea to ask if you want carrots and baby corn in it because some people don't care for that. No homemade sweet and sour sauce to come with your meals. Huge bummer here. You'll get a bunch of single packet duck sauces that you know are going to taste weird. No extra ginger sauce when I asked for it. It was the one sauce that was really good that came with the dumplings. I'd much rather put that on my egg roll than the duck sauce packets. Szcechuan beef: (tasteless and not spicy at all and had shredded beef instead of sliced beef). Was really bummed about this. And it was also super brothy. This was my main meal and I wouldn't eat it. Beef mushroom: again super brothy and ate more like a soup than a sauce. A lot of vegetables in these. (I appreciate the veggies, but the fam who specifically asked for this didn't). Another miss. Conclusion: We spent a ton of money here. We got a huge amount of fortune cookies which was nice, but we're kind of hoping we were going to get rolls with our dinners, but we got a ton of white rice, which is also fine. Most of the dinner menu items like the beef orders were a huge miss so that bummed us out."

"ok to be fair, I am from vancouver bc and had not expected to be culinary joy in seattle, especially if my niece insisted on us from the international district and the lake union. hmmmm! drove up to this rather impressive but rather simple entrance and I was very pleasantly surprised how many and how cheap parking there are. I went up and went to the rzzie and was blown away immediately, how fabulous the one was in sight. this is seattle at its best bright sunshine and yet temperate weather. the bright sunshine shows the time of the decoration and the frightening of the terrible dirty windows, which is such a scandal for such a magnificent view. perhaps too much rain until recently and so they had no chance to clean them? eating. Oh, my God! I must say I never expected such good food in seattle! my niece told me that her chef chef is a very well-known and is practically a proministrator in the seattle culinary scene. impressive eating, very well presented and deeelicious! and at the price, I am used in Canadian prices and when converted into cad$ seems a bit on the expensive side. but my midday companions told me that there was nothing outdated for seattle and very in tune with other similar places without the additional bonus of views. in any case a place I would recommend my Vancouver friends who are planning to go down to avoid some disappointments in seattle."
