"We had an awesome and outstanding time at New York Prime, our server Lonny was the best I have had! We enjoyed the Carpaccio and Shrimp cocktail, then we had steak with creamy spinach, fettuccine Alfredo and a Caesar salad. At the end we were brought a Lemon Butter cake with ice cream on top and it was OUT OF THIS WOLRD! I really recommend this place! It awesome!"

"I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews, but at the same time, I get it. It's not as horrible as some other reviewers have stated, but it's decent enough. The portions of all the food that was ordered were great. The prices were great. The taste was just decent. Decent enough. But if you take into consideration the portion, the price, and the quality. It isn't a bad spot to grab a quick meal. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again. It wouldn't be my #1 choice, but I would stop by again."

"we grew up in the bronx and have not been on the city island for over 30 years. we were there to celebrate the birthday of my husband and our high-time anniversary of 31 years with 2 great engaged. we would not have found a better place and the weather was perfect."

"We called ahead with a party of 12 and they were not only able to set up tables for us but serve us very well. All of the food was excellent. We had Calzones, pizza, and several pastas. The Chicken Pasta with Vodka sauce was fantastic. They have happy hour on their draft beer from 3-7 for $2.00 a 12 oz glass. Today's special, Thursday, $4.99 margaritas."

"unfortunately, I think this restaurant will take off. I have eaten dozens of paints here and it is simply not the same level of service. we were just her for a New Year's dinner and a simple thing to write our order would have prevented half the mistake. why do some servers think so good causation that they can remember their order, but if that forgets a thing that the customer now has to wait another 15 to 20 minutes longer to get the corrected order. I pay to dollar for low service. with so many dinner options on the city island, they have now lost a future parasol."

"stick to order the pizza. the kalbsparmesan was terrible. the kalbs was an old, freeze-cooled piece of meat and then it was burned by the kitchen. the pasta came cold and sealed. the salad dress tasted. the cash are ocean perch. the menu should say it. my martini was like a shot of wodka. Thankfully the waiter took it back and made it new. this was a hard night of the vaters day eating. thanks to our waiter james. his service was great. the bar and the kitchen let us down."

"The stuffed pizza is amazing- that crust is so crisp on the outside and so perfectly soft on the inside. They have a bit too many fried food options so if you're a foodie you won't find anything new or interesting. But the menu is vast, reasonably priced and the entrees are decent. If you like Italian, the pastas are great, too. I tend to always order the blackened chicken fingers which is an appetizer and amazing. They have a decent won't list, and a great shop to buy wines to go, but I've ordered a few bottles of red that came to my table so warm it felt as though they were microwaved, but they were gracious in their handling of the situation. Great solid restaurant to visit. I come here often."

"It was great. This is my weekly enjoyment for Honeybrook. Love the roles, strombolis and cheese steaks. The type that works the register is great, always happy and smiling. I went to Jerry's for a while and the guys are also really nice, but Papa Mark's roles seem better, and I like their sauce and dough more for their pizza and Strombolis"

"the food was absolutely disgusting. Fettuccini alfredo tasted sour and like aluminum. cheesesteak is one of the easiest things to make, couldn't even finish half. I still gladly paid but will NEVER go there again. Im not even Italian and im offended. How has this business been open as long as it has?"

"we sat on two other guests. no time offered a server water or asked for drinks for 15-20 minutes until we requested a server. we had two server, the second is better and more attentive than the first. we have eaten here several times, but we found that eating this trip well, but not exceptional for the price. the dessert was as always very good."

"Nice place, little overpriced. Ambience: great Food: better Service: Self service Parking: can be a challenge, I got it quickly. Staff: friendly and nice With a little overpriced menu, I wasn’t disappointed at all. Food was tasty. You have a huge display of menu, pick what you want and then grab a tray and go straight to the server. Tell them what you want and they will make the plate right in front of you. And you also get to pick breads and desserts as you walk up to check out. They have Android Pay, no Apple Pay. Will try them again for dinner and see how it goes."

"It’s overpriced American Food. Not a wide selection of variety on the menu. No kids menu. It’s a place you go to for the ambiance, or a birthday, but jot for the quality of the food. I had a reservation, yet got seated one hour later. Food took over an hour to arrive. Waiterswaitresses don’t check in on you. You have to chase them down. Plenty of empty tables, yet I saw a family get turned away as a walk in at on a Monday afternoon. It seems the cater faster to large parties, spenders. You can just see the level of attention is directed towards larger parties"

"Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my husband and father on a Sunday evening. I was surprised how many available tables there were given the amazing service and food. We’ve been here before years ago and this time was even better. Started with the goat cheese and spinach spread appetizer They have more wine beyond the list so be sure to ask. We had the Chaos Theory from Brown Estate with the Filet, Sea Bass, and house-made pasta dish with sausage. Finished off with strawberry puffs and peanut butter crème brûlée with 20 yr Tawny port.
