"eating here is very decent. I was three times. I have enjoyed the thunfish tostada and seafood enchiladas immens. the empanadas I ordered tonight were filled with shredded bark and not crispy. I prefer argentian style, but I ate her (of course) my favorite drink is orange smoke? I think. my waiter took my menu away before I was through. he was passiw aggressiv or maybe aggressive. I don't think I've ever been treated so overly horrible when I've ever been waiting for the staff. that's breaking? I had the opportunity to ask if my drink was ready (if he knew my table) so I give a 2 star review because I feel quite awful to be here. Eat came out right away, but I waited for about 10 minutes for a drink. Hopefully, her experience will be better than mine. I don't recommend sitting on the bar."

"What a treat! We waited about 35 mins for a table, but enjoyed libations while we waited. I had the guava and thyme margarita and my sister had the smoky blood orange. Both were delicious despite the light pour. We really enjoyed the trio of dips and tortilla chips. The bean dip was exceptional. We also ordered the empanadas. They were tasty with the cheese being the favorite. But the crowning jewel of the meal was the cheesy birria tacos! I could write love songs about those tacos! The meat is tender and savory and the cheese is ooey gooey, the taco shell is dipped and fried to perfection. Absolute food bliss."

"beautiful place. the personal is very nice and professional. the short ribs are so delicious, juicy and delicate. the pupa salad was great and also the rock steak was excellent. the portions are not great, so they should definitely choose a dessert and cappuccino if they love dessert! the drinks are good and the pretty glass decorations from the deck are so beautiful together with the back water wall with changing colors. I have always enjoyed my eating here and have always reservations for us to eat here. I'm just sad that we can't have any more entertainment outside or inside. it's ridiculous. of course not the company choice. once a few years ago (as the cars are parked valet) there was a striped white color on the side mirror of my new acura. I was excited the next day when I found it. the food and drink are good. I wouldn't recommend their drivers."

"This place never disappoints!!! We chose to sit outside as the weather was beautiful. The server was phenomenal helping us make our choice every step of the way. She was on point. The tortilla soup was great. Even the salad mixes had great flavor and was large. I ordered pork tacos on bib lettuce and my friend had shrimp and grits which she loved. The guacamole was outstanding! We loved everything. It’s now our”go to “ restaurant!!"

"I've been trying this place for a few months and I'm so glad I finally made it! They have done a really funny work with the aesthetic inside - it is a good looking space with a great ambience. You have a pretty fantastic happy hour (just knowing it ends at 5:30*? The house margaritas are fantastic like tacos and wings. The people who have this place/work are really friendly and attentive. We had a great time and would come back happy. *UPDATE: These wonderful people only have Happy Hour up to 6:00 a.m. daily and then extended all day on Sunday. Woohoo!"

I celebrated my birthday with family and friends on 2nd november. our server was isabella and she was professional, attentive and friendly! she made the experience great! the young man on the host table greeted us with a smile and the manager even came out to ask if I wanted to put my birthday cupcakes in the kitchen until we were ready to eat them! this is a great location, close to a parking garage and they feel safe to foot around. "First time visitors. When this place first opened I was put off by some of the reviews. But those reviews were either erroneous, or Poquitos took them to heart and made improvements. We have absolutely no complaints with any aspect of our experience. We were seated immediately at a comfortable shaded table outside, as requested. "I'm out of town and on the way to the outer banks, North Carolina, I'm staying at Motel 6 on the street from this restaurant. I'm always looking for Google to find a good place to eat. I was a little hesitant when I saw the last reviews, but decided to try as several staff at the motel said it was good. I am glad that I did as I ordered the beef Chimichungas and it came with beans and rice it was delicious, the chips and salsa was also very good. The service was fast and the server was very attentive, but not disturbing. Don't be afraid to go here, it was a great experience."

"August 2021- I like this place a lot, their margaritas are the best in the area, one star off because what I ordered could use a little more flavor but for drinks I would go 100 times. "Mexico restaurant, located by Mechanicsville Turnpike is a great place for a quick bite or dinner with family. Pleasant and good portions. We were able to sit outside and it was a great experience with many beautiful flowers and well maintained plants made the outdoor dining area very welcoming. Food was hot and cooked to order. "This evening me and my family came in to eat, it took a little for our waitress to come to us but it happens so it was no big deal and she seemed super friendly. Our food came out and it wasn?t exactly what we asked for, our waitress gave me the dirtiestlook when I politely let her know the issue and she seemed to not understand what we were saying and kept giving us an attitudeand even tried arguing with me. We didnt eat anything , we then told them we were leaving and got up and left. I work in arestaurant so i am very understanding of these things but this was such a bad experience and the girl who served us shoulddefinitely rethink the way she wants to communicate with her guests. We wont be back to this particular restaurant."

"Ultreia is charming and romantic! They serve up well thought out dishes and their tapas menu is great for sharing. We ordered the Chef’s Special, a chef-selected menu of options. The pan con tomate was a little bland for me personally. BUT that’s possibly because all of the other dishes were very flavorful!The shisito peppers were delicious! Croquetas de jamon were fluffy and light…very tasty. The artichoke salad was light fresh. The flavors combined blew me away. The marcona almonds manchego paired so nicely with the artichoke and dill. The shrimp ceviche was equally as refreshing.The patatas bravas was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! This dish was full of all the right spice. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and brought nice balance to the grilled octopus. Then, there was the moorish spiced, fall-off-the-bone ribs. These ribs were plentiful and tender!Ultreia is a unique place for your next evening out. I can’t wait to go back!"
