"The menu looks delicious, however, the execution is lacking. Our table ordered the pancake board which was beautiful and delicious, it was a fun treat for the kids. Our server was very kind and attentive. The restaurant had a mothers day gift (a plastic tumbler cup with straw), which was a nice touch, although not my personal choice. Of our meals, our poached eggs were either fully hard, or barely cooked at all which was disappointing. My husband ordered Shrimp and Grits. There were about 4 overcooked shrimp...and no grits. It was served over potatoes...so either they gave us someone else's substitute meal or the kitchen wasn't on the same page about their meal offerings. Our server did bring out grits which were very good. One of our water cups tasted and smelled like last night's beer indicating the cup was dirty. And the bellinis were mostly champagne with a small bit of fruit puree in the bottom of the glass, with a maraschino cherry. The server was again, very kind and replaced the water cup promptly. Overall the food was just ok and we probably will not return, but our service was good."
