"It has been many years since I have been to ?THE ORIGINAL? location on Rector. I live closest to the Bandera Road location and IH-10. Had to pass them both up to get to Rector. This place never fails to impress. Great flavors, balanced seasonings, simple but nice presentation and for someone who has been instructed to ?eat more fish?, this satisfies both in selections and flavors. As Sea Island and I are the same age, circa 1965, there is gentle comfort like ?coming home?. I loved the brighter decor while still honoring the past with original light fixtures and Jolly Jack always ready with a smile and a fish to welcome you in. Stop by, you won?t be disappointed."
