"The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The decor is gorgeous and invites you in. The light fictures, wall decor, drapping vines and fruits made me feel like I'd stepped into Italy. The restaurant looked well staffed but it didn't feel that way. The host sat us, gave us water and bread and explained it would be a few minutes before our waitress came over. We waited about 10 minutes and placed a drink order and an appetizer with our waitress. Our food came out before our drinks. Food kept coming and no one cleared our plates from the table. We had to pile the dishes together to make room when our entree came out. My crabcake was delicious. Seasoned well and great portions for the price. The only issue was my mashed potatoes and asparagus were cold. As if they were plated, waited for the crabcakes and just left waiting to come out to me. When it came time to pay, my friend and I split the check between $100 bill cash and card and my change was never returned to me. I didn't complain but the waitress shorted herself an additional $7 by doing this."

"even though we had a 7:00 reservation, we only sat 7:30. except that everything was fantastic. great eating, great service, great ambiente (on the veranda, the main room was too loud and not so cozy) and good value for the cost. plan them back and enjoy it again."

"I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. We shared a salad and tried the shrimp fra diavola, which was delicious. The pasta could have been cooked a bit longer, but overall it was very good. I ordered the dinner portion and was able to save some for the next day. The shrimp were a nice size as well. I plan on returning this week to order the same dish again."

"Well, walking around Mount Vernon, I came across Pia2Za. This particular address has been many many things over the years. Pia2za is the newest iteration in this location. Curious, I stepped inside to see what it was all about. Basically, this is a pizzeria/sub shop. Excellent! This type of place is always welcome in the neighborhood. As a native New Yorker, Pizza, it 's some thing that I 'm pretty particular about. When I come across a place, that is a pizza place, I always order (without fail a regular cheese slice. Based on the way that it tastes, determines whether I want anything else or if I 'll be back . A good pizza, to me, has a certain taste. The majority of places here in Maryland are missing 'that taste '. Well, I 'm here to tell you... This cheese slice was perfection... and was a NORMAL price. SCORE!!! (Lately, I 've come across places that are charging $6-8 for a slice. Crazy!!! GTFOH! . It had the right amount of cheese. It had a nice simple, tomato sauce base. The bottom of the slice was nicely crusted up to maintain it 's shape and best of all, when folded, grease dripped down my arm. HEAVEN!!! SCORE!! Looking at the menu, there are many offerings that I would enjoy so I 'm definitely coming back to try cheesesteaks, stuffed mushrooms, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, etc. I hope this place does well and sticks around because a good sub shop that isn 't over priced... like a few right around the corner, would be a great addition.I 'll most assuredly be back!! SCORE!!"

"I've ordered from Margherita multiple times and have always been pleased. It's a fantastic pizza place with large pies, thin slices, and delicious ingredients. Recently, I attended a birthday party where Margherita pizza was served, and it disappeared quickly as everyone was raving about the cheese, the thin slices, the pepperoni, and more. My personal favorite is the pepperoni pizza, which features perfectly spiced pepperoni that complements the homemade sauce and irresistible cheese blend beautifully. "What a gem! We had a late reservation on Easter Sunday night and I wasn 't expecting an A team effort but was thrilled with the service; the food was fresh, creative and wonderfully tasty. The restaurant itself is cozy and the hostess offered us a booth or table which I always appreciate. I chose Pappardelle allo Zafferano a pappardelle pasta with shrimp, sea scallops and lump crab in a saffron cream sauce something I had never seen before. My companion enjoyed the Veal Limoncello again an old favorite with a new twist. Our only complaint was we weren 't served bread to wipe the plates clean! There are many other choices calling our name we will be back! Our waiter was good, but when I pointed out we were given 2 different menus from the hostess and he confirmed one was the old menu, I suggested he take out the old page and throw it away rather sticking it back in the stand for the same problem to repeat another time. He cheerfully said no problem, sure sure... and then we watched him return both menus to the hostess stand for the next unsuspecting customer. On the other hand, I watched a busboy, a 17 year old Ryan, carefully eye the table linens as he reset, smoothing every wrinkle, squatting down to eyeball the edge of the cloths, adjusting until they were even. He handled the silverware by handles only and inspected every table as he finished. He definitely went into the I would hire him category! Clearly the restaurant is hiring and training well. Can 't wait to go back for an outside table along this cute street and try one of the many specialty cocktails and pizza... or salad... or paninis..."
