"I must admit, I was snobby and skeptical about sushi in Bakersfield and JIN Sushi proved me wrong and I'm better for it! I'll come back and bring more people. If you visit Bakersfield, you need to try JIN Sushi. It is really good sushi, great ambience, friendly service and affordable prices! If you're from Bakersfield, what are you waiting for? You have a phenomenal sushi bar under your nose. I sat at the bar and our server was so knowledgeable and friendly and very efficient. It was also a busy night, but I still felt no gap in service quality. I tried Nigiri and Rolls and they were all amazing. Some of my favorites were the Mackerel Nigiri, the salmon roll and the Baked Scallop Roll. My only regret. 1. I did not record our server on a Blue Fin Tuna special for this day. Life is too short. I'll do it next time. 2. I didn't know there was House Sake (warm or cold) until I had already ordered a bottle. But it would have been nice to try Jin Sushi. 3. My stomach had no more space to try other things on the menu. Next time Jin, next time..."

"I always enjoy this hidden gem and it is definitely one of my spots. I recommend that it is cheap and they have a good selection of sushi rolls?. They have also called something the ingenious hour that has a happy hour they have 3-6:30 a week, with $5 Sapporo and Kirin. Staff is friendly, definitely check it out!"

"THIS PLACE SUCKS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED The worst sushi I've had in 20 years. Nasty....shame on you for serving nasty old sushi, unbelievable! Apparently many people have no ideal what quality sushi is. This place is not quality, fresh or worth the drive...10 minutes from me. I should have known it was going to be bad when i saw the sushi chef pick up a fish filet and smell it twice to make sure it wasn't bad, we had three rolls, three nigiri, one tofu, one Sapporo, one large sake, she brought us a small, charged for large. Cost: $100 I tipped $10 which they were lucky to get. I actually felt ripped of when i was leaving. THIS PLACE SUCKS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED"

"RESTROOM 5/5 SERVICE 5/5 FOOD 5/5 VALUE 5/5 Absolutely fabulous experience at MR. Teriyaki. It's a little hidden but there is a big sign leading you to one of the best Japanese restaurants in the Peninsula. The minute we walked in, I knew this was the definition of a truly special hole in the wall restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was superb. Prices were good. Tea was excellent. The restroom was extra clean. There was even Purel hand sanitizer at every table. There was a large TV playing the baseball game and in the background I could hear 80s r and b on a stereo system that had excellent bass. We support local family type restaurants and we will definitely be coming back"
