"The food is okay, and the ambiance gives school lunch vibes with the railings. Customer service from the owner is terrible. He was rude and disrespectful. I wanted to order two slices of pizza, and the owner ignored me and started taking orders from the men standing behind me. A lady behind the register asked what his problem was, and he just gave a hand gesture. She took my order, but she continued to look at the owner with disgust. She apologized to me. I said thank you and never returned. The consequences are that we no longer place catering orders 3 times a year. We found a more respectful business to patronize."

"My buddies and I visited NY during the Memorial Day 2012. We tried several pizzerias during our vacation. Mr. Miceli was working when we found his place (by smell). We each had a couple of slices and it was excellent. I then asked Mr. Miceli if i could purchase 2 pies to bring back to SC. He had 2pies wrapped (each slice individually wrapped). The 2 pies made it back to SC and was fantastic. I returned a week ago to help some people in East Rockaway with cleanup from Sandy. Before we left we stopped by Mr.Miceli's and purchased another pie to bring home. If you want the best pizza in NY, stop by Mr. Miceli's! You will take a pie home also."

"This place has gone from zero to heroes under new management. It's not the same place we went 25 years ago. Prices are moderate. The food is abundant. The atmosphere is casually elegant and there is plenty of room to eat and feel safe in, unlike a very popular restaurant nearby that was packed for Sunday dinner. "We eat here 2-3 times a month. We have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our favorite entrees are the manacotti and the linguine with clams. We usually split a tiramisu to finish out our meal. Their pizza is a GREAT option for take out. Great crust with LOTS of cheese. On Fridays they have a piano player that entertains the crowd with a variety of songs. His repertoire includes Sinatra, the Beatles and T.V. tunes. We really enjoy this restaurant and wish it much success. We recommend it to all of our FB friends!"

The Greek salad with grilled chicken is a filling and healthy dinner option that we regularly enjoy. While prices have risen like everywhere else, we believe that the food is worth every penny. "Probably my favorite pizza in Howard Beach. The prices are quite high, but the quality is unbeatable for what you pay. Her pizza, especially her special pizza, is delicious and very full. I was actually taken back how big and loaded the special disks I received. So much that a big guy like I fought to finish the two slices that I ordered, although I could easily finish two special slices in my local pizzeria. Besides the big pizza, their garlic knots were also delicious. As a plus, this place takes credit cards and the service was friendly for me. Parking during the day is kind of tricky, but I find the parking situation in the night a little better, which is particularly good as this place is open late. Overall, I will definitely be back."

"They had to raise their prices, everyone did, unavoidable and totally understandable. The problem is that the prices went up so much so quickly, it's no longer the value it was a few years ago compared to other places in the neighborhood. The dinners are great, pizza is very good, and the dining room is very nice as well."
