"My wife and I were both free at 1:00 for lunch today, a bit of an odd circumstance. She suggested we meet at Travinia. I was pleased with the very courteous greeting and service. I asked for a draft Pieroni while I waited for her--cold and deliciously crisp--hard to find on tap. She got the chicken piccata with gluten-free pasta, and I got the veal piccata, which came with a deliciously seasoned angel hair pasta. I'm not really a huge fan of pasta, but this was excellent. The piccata sauce was much better than what I make at home, and the veal was really pounded thin--too many restaurants omit this crucial step. Our server, Sarah G., was attentive without being obtrusive, a difficult balance. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice as well.
I wish they were closer to me, but it's worth a trip!"
