"Ohh my new favorite local spot! I was losing hope about South Arlington food choices (they can be pricey and/or don't taste very good for the price). BUT. I've found just the place to remedy it and it's a 23rd Street classic. This place was great!! I ordered the Top Thai noodle, which was like a less saucy drunken noodle with basil and pork (yum, savory, perfectly chewy noodle). I also got the Cat Fish Pad Ped. Highly recommend this dish if you want something unique! It's so so good!! I got the sauce on the side. It's slightly spicy with eggplant and in it and fried basil leaves. Dip the fried catfish in that spicy goodness and savor all that deliciousness!! Yum. Finished off the meal with perfectly sweet mango and sticky rice. The waitress that we ordered from was also very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed on our to go order. I'll be back for sure."

"I just have to say... Tom Yum Fried Rice. I get it with tofu, but I think it's amazing, no matter what the protein is. My brother takes Pad See Ew. We love it here. It's over because it's close to Irwindale Station. The staff is clear family, are always friendly and provide fast service. Nothing beautiful, but great prices and good food!"

"I don 't like leaving bad reviews but this second time coming here and was hoping it would 've been a better experience than before. But no sadly. Took about 10mins for them to finally pay any attention to me even after calling out to them. Then another10mins watching them walk past me/standing by the register and having to raise my voice to finally place my order even having toask for my drink again after waiting about 5mins.(There were only about 3 other tables at the time) Timing my lunch since I onlyhave an hour. 15 or do mins to finally get what to me is not worth $19 for lunch special with some very tasteless food withMSG being the most prominent flavor and beef that was basically burnt where all you can taste is that char. Not once asked for arefill of drink either. They seem like nice ladies but, for both experiences: Service Terrible Food Edible Spice Level 1 5 Non existent no matter the level Would not recommend I feel this is a very Americanized establishment and this is more forthose who don 't know the real thing. Was thinking since they were only a 4 min drive I 'd have plenty of time to eat and make itback to work with in an hour like other restaurants. I love Thai food, I grew up eating Thai food always trying find any newplaces that have that authentic feel and taste but this wasn 't it. Long tangent. But to each their own."

"At this restaurant, you have the option to choose either Tofu or mock duck to complement their wide selection of dishes. A majority of them are vegan-friendly. Additionally, the chef is knowledgeable about veganism and can adapt some of the non-vegan dishes to suit your dietary preferences."

"From the moment we were greeted by Clay, it felt as though he had been eagerly awaiting our arrival all night. His warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening. Our waitress, Anna, was incredibly helpful and..."

"My wife and I ordered dinner for the first time from this place and we will never, never return! We spent over $70 and had takeout last night. We ordered the curry chicken which was prepared very lazily because they left the bones in the chicken The skin was still on the chicken I mean there was full chicken wings in the curry chicken which made the curry very greasy. This is virtually unheard of with curry chicken! I had the crispy ribs which were dry like potato chips. We also had the shrimp hot and sour soup the only thing about the soup that was good Is that it was hot. It was bland with very little taste we also had the shrimp rolls which were cold The only thing good about that dish was the sweet and sour sauce. We also ordered sticky rice which was as hard as a rock no matter how much of the greasy curry sauce that we doused the rice in it was a virtual brick and uneatable! All in all I give this meal a D-. The reason it's not a full-fledged F is only because at least we got the food. But it wasn't edible ... We threw the entire meal in the trash and wound up having to spend another $20 on fast food for dinner! Save yourself the time the money and the belly ache do not eat at this place."

"Large portions, great flavor. Ingredients were fresh and spice level was appropriate. I ordered spicy . I appreciate the level of detail with packaging too. My Papaya Salad (Som Tum) had excellent flavor and sauce and they packaged it tightly and put plastic wrap over to make sure it didnt leak. Very thoughtful! This will be my go-to Thai now!"

"My family and I have ordered from Smile Thai Cuisine a few times and the food has always been excellent. However, on a recent visit, I decided to try something new and couldn't handle the level of spice. I called the restaurant to explain the situation to the manager, who was very understanding. He recommended a different dish for me, which I ordered and had delivered. It was delicious and I was very pleased with the service. I highly recommend Smile Thai Cuisine! Food: 5 stars."
