"I?ve patronized Salsarita?s restaurants off on for five(5) years. Since COVID I?ve noticed a decline in product presentation. The staff are typically friendly pleasant. Several months ago I ordered a taco salad, unfortunately the taco shell was stale. I didn?t complain because I realize they?ve been short staffed since COVID. I took a long break from this restaurant after the stale taco shell incident. This location happens to be near my work location I was hesitant to visit this Salsarita?s, however it?s been several months since the stale taco shell. Yesterday , I revisited this location, got EXTREMELY sick immediately after dining in for 30-minutes HORRIBLY sick after eating a vegetarian burrito with rice beans at this location today. Based on research the rice contain spores of Bacillus cereus, bacteria that can cause food poisoning. The spores can survive when rice is cooked. If rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores can grow into bacteria. These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons) that cause vomiting or diarrhea. I had AWFUL vomiting diarrhea for several hours. Due to getting an EXTREME case of food poisoning after visiting this restaurant, I will NEVER patronize a Salsarita?s restaurant again!!! THX"
