"the steak was not rare, the server had specially cut us into it to see if it was to our joy when we told her it was not rare that she went and got the manager and owner. they came by to do so when they were looking and going on when to tell us that it was rare and the situation rejected. What was the point of asking us if they make a big thing about it for 1 and 2 don't try to correct it, just say we lie and go away?"

"The service we received at this restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We chose to split the antipasti for one, which was simple with only cold cuts and two slices of provolone, but it lacked dressing. My companion ordered the lasagne, which was a good size and delicious, although he was informed that it was meatless when it wasn't. I decided on the Veal Marsala with mushrooms, which was tasty and had tender veal (something rare in most restaurants). The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite not being in my neighborhood, I would probably come back again."

"Every time I need quality food, I think of La Mer. Sean is so helpful, and he’s really turned the store around. The employees all seem to care about the level of service as much as the owner, which is so refreshing. The store is always clean, food is on display in bright, fresh looking refrigerators, and everything looks delicious. I’ve called so many times in a panic, super last minute when I’ve needed catering, and Sean has come through every time. Even when he’s slammed with other orders, I’ve always felt taken care of and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, super fresh, the highest quality seafood and menu offerings. I can’t say enough great things. I’m so glad La Mer is in our town, they are my go to for all of my most important gatherings!"

"My mom and I stopped here to eat Friday night. They were decently crowded, but nobody waited in the lobby. We sat in the bar area, as the employee at the front said, it would be a few minutes if we wanted to sit in the dining area. The waitress who served us was also the bartender. There were some people at the bar as there were sports games so that she seemed pretty busy. Your service was still great and she checked us as much as possible. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary spectacular. Overall, it was a good experience, but it seemed like the restaurant was understated."

Every time we're there, we had another waitress and all were super efficient and nice. All their food is really good and also servings. Very recommended. You could be better wearing masks. "My daughter and I had the best lunch yesterday, we both had the chicken breast festival. I would almost order the exact dish at Romanos Makkaroni Grill, but they stopped it a few years ago. I just wish I knew you were serving this because I had made a lot of visits in the past. I asked our server if we could replace the Roma tomatoes for sun-dried tomatoes and he said no problem, It was the most delicious pasta dish I had in a very long time! It was even better than Romanos Macaroni Grill! Our server was amazing, although he was with himself, he made sure everyone took care. We also ordered a five-part Mozzarella Stick appetizer, but they were from the larger Mozzarella sticks, so you all gave us a double amount of the smaller ones. I added the cook and the server for the wonderful service and food."

"the reservation was for a high table for 6. they tried to sit on a low table, although there were 4 high tables open. the service was mediocre with one of our party who did not get their meal until 12 minutes after the rest of the table. eating was a good tasting with large portions, which was the only saving gnade for this place."

"Another fave due to the service and the food. The owners story is a great one coming up from being a kitchen worker to being the permittee. The waiter, Marcio, has been their for years. "I go here all the time as a dominican myself the only criticism is please put less saltly flavor in the sancocho, i know we are to combine it with white rice but still. Food is good, beans are soft and delicious, and mangu is just right in texture and if you call they have the order for you to pick up when they say. Dining in they are good, attentive to come by, but sometimes it can be hard to get your servers attention when its not busy because they are all at the front desk taking walk-ins."

"at first, they don't come here unless they can comfortably handle lots of stairs. second, the signage is unclear, so they go down for the bar, but for the restaurant. the service we had was terrible and by someone who really shouldn't be a waiter. he thought red paprika would be squash; I'm not doing this. the ambiente is adorable, that I will give them, but there was also a bizarre singer. as far as eating is concerned, it was hard, but that was it. the pasta was cooked properly as well as the chicken, but nothing was spiced and overall the dish had no taste. I honestly never served Italian food without offering fresh parmesan. and the chicken piccata had almost no lemon taste with no fresh lemon on the side provided and no corpse?! that should be an Italian restaurant, but it is really just an American restaurant that pretends to be an Italian restaurant. if they can cope with a lot of stairs and not extreme as well as ineffective service, but enjoy bland food and lovely ambiente as this place is for them."

I was surprised by the size of the tacos. they were more like mini-taco’s, not a regular size. the mango “salsa” was not salsa at all. they were small pieces mangos. "I am reviewing Walnut Grill. I don't know why it's called Rival. Don't go for the holiday brunch. I will never be coming back. They charged $26.95 for brunch, but didn't even provide toast for the eggs. They had the nerve to charge $1.79 each for toast that took 30 minutes to arrive, and by the time it did, our eggs were gone. It was a terrible experience. The food line was chaotic and there were no serving utensils available."

"Food was mediocre. French toast sticks were ok, but everything else was not great. I ordered an omelette and it came out overcooked (it was turning brown) and couldn’t taste no meat or cheese in it. Pastries were left out in the open to get hard and flies were flying around. The wait staff were nice. But for the cost, which is not very expensive, I expected a little more options and quality.
