"Aoki is not just a restaurant. I feel like a part of my community and my life. I have been going to this place for lunch for years when I was close to the University of La Verne. (And I still make the trip to La Verne for lunch sometimes! I have no idea what the name of the waitress is, but I'm always happy to see her. The restaurant is owned and operated by a couple and you can taste every morsel of love in their food. I usually don't like sushi, but this is the only place that knows how to make it delicious. It is usually lukewarm instead of cold and they roll in the rice layer in sesame seeds. If you go there for lunch, you can have a complete Bento box with two or three items, salad, potato salad and rice, all for about ten dollars!"
