"Excellent selection of hot and cold tapas. Delicias Andalusas (6 stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and quick-fried, with tangy-sweet tomato-based sauce) is a particular favorite. Be sure to check the daily specials page. We had a Spanish crab cake which was delicious. The champinones Barcelona (4 mushroom caps stuffed with spinach, cheese and pine nuts, served with a saffron sauce) is always excellent. The small plates, pricier, are with the money. Filete Romesco (beef filet in Romesco sauce, with grilled asparagus) is excellent. The beef filet with Cabrales blue cheese sauce is terrific. Good selection of Spanish wines, albeit at restaurant prices. Daily flan specials are always interesting, we recently had coffee-flavored flan, quite good. Fly in the ointment is the extra charge for credit cards. A couple of extra percent, but annoying nonetheless. Otherwise highly recommended."
