Tempura appetizer came with 2 shrimps and oil logged veggies. All the rolls were over sauced and the seafood did not seem fresh. Chicken teriyaki very underwhelming. "This was my first time in Omizu and we decided to eat here for a Valentine's Day. Each other Japanese restaurant was booked for the day. I have often gone to Benihana and Wasabi Steakhouse, but for the sound or distance it was not very important, but this restaurant is my new favorite. So glad I took a chance on this jewel! The restaurant was decorated with BEAUTIFULLY! I was amazed how cultural and beautiful it looked. The details that made it a special dinning experience were from flowers to candle on the table. The restaurant has a romantic feeling with the dimmed lights and an intimate environment. The food was delicious and the service was fast! My husband and I had the chicken Hibachi dinner that came with delicious clear soup and salad. The salad was fresh and crisp with a lot of dressing up. Everything about my dinner was perfect. The thick chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were so good. We even ordered an avocado sushi roll. They had a bar section that was separated by a beautiful wall of water and bubbles that changed the color. I will probably make this my special celebration restaurant! Thanks for the great service and food, can not wait, come back!"

"I should have ordered sushi instead. I got the seafood yaki soba and while I was pleased with the waitress and her attentiveness, I was not happy with my meal. The seafood included 5 shrimp, 2 scallops (cut in half), and a 3-inch piece of imitation crab (also cut in half). In my opinion, no restaurant should be rated higher than 2 if they serve imitation crab. The shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor, the scallops were colorless and tasteless, and the imitation crab speaks for itself. The noodles were decent. On the other hand, my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed her salmon hibachi with no complaints. I would like to give this place 3 stars for the exceptional service, but the quality of the food brings the overall rating down."

"This restaurant sparked my interest when I first noticed it on Groupon. The food looked appealing and I definitely knew it was worth a checkout. The Pad Thai was delicious and the portion was very generous. The Chicken Curry was spicy and inviting. For dessert I recommend the fried banana and ice cream. The restrooms were clean and there was a men’s and women’s. There is an option for takeout and you can make reservations on the website for specific times. We went late, around 9 PM and there wasn’t a need for a reservation. I will definitely be coming back to try more entree options!"
