"That was the second time I was with Ernesto. The first time was at the end of 2020, so dine in was no option, but they had takeout that I enjoyed. One big thing is that I can't eat cheese, fortunately there are many ways that don't have cheese. This time I left, I celebrated a milestone with my wife who was great. There is a PLENTY of options from the menu, I would probably say that there are too many. But if you are looking for the classic Italian restaurant with the choice of food, ambience and feeling, this is the place. They are not the big chains like Olive Garden or The Old Spaghetti Factory, but they have to compete with them. Thank you. All you order includes unlimited Focaccia bread. But here there is a dilemma; the hearty bread is simply served. There is no sauce or even butter. Now you probably don't need more fat in the Focaccia, but the bread is still much dry without coming with it. I ordered a bowl of marinara that was delicious, but only for that was an additional $3. Also the prices in the menu are incomplete or incorrect. I ordered Ravioli and Spaghetti while she ordered Chicken Alfredo. After the paper menu, it should cost $19. But the bill came to $20 per... It's a little thing, but as a customer it's not very helpful to bring me back. Even at the price of $19 containing a soup or salad, I think that the price is justified (bread, soup/salad, and duck). The environment is like a classic restaurant, and so many of these chains really do not understand the need for the feeling and ambience that a restaurant offers like this. If you like Italian food, it's worth trying. But it's not cheap. The food was delicious, the service was good, the ambience is unique, and the location is out of the way?. Take this, but you want."

"Let me tell you about the worst Valentines experience I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I have eaten at the restaurant on Cooper River and for the most part, have enjoyed it. We were hoping for the same food/experience at this restaurant as well. Once we were seated, we waited about 20 minutes for a “waitress” (who happened to be the hostess) come over and ask for our drinks. We also just learned that they were only running the Valentine’s Day special. That being said we picked out our food and placed our orders. We waited then about 30-45 for our salads to come out. Salad was ok, didn’t really taste like there was an Cesar dressing on it, but we were starving so we ate most of it. After that, we waited another 30-45 minutes for the appetizer to come out. We ordered sausage and peppers and risotto balls. They brought out the risotto balls, but also put down cheesesteak egg rolls. We let the staff know we did not order those and wanted the sausage and peppers. We waited another 30 minutes and our entree was brought out. In that time one of the staff members notified us that our “waitress” had walked out and left. She told us there was only 1 person cooking and that the owner did not prepare for this evening accordingly. After our entree came out, we ate most of it, the salmon was actually pretty good. But the potatoes were dry as hell, I pushed them to the side. My fiancé got the chicken san remo, which she enjoyed for the most part. Then we waited for dessert, for another 30 minutes and mind you, we did not get our sausage and pepper appetizer yet. In this time we saw the “manager” give a family their meal for free because they had been there for 2.5 hours and didn’t get entrees. My fiancé was frustrated and walked to the front and asked for the check because we did not feel like waiting any longer. We thanked a few of the staff members who had clearly “jumped in” and tried to help out. We will never go back to this location EVER again. Very disappointing."
