"My husband I love going to diners all the time. This one is open 24hrs on weekends. Our server was great, the food was on point and the place is nice. It does get crowded and the parking lot is small. So get there early if you can. Other than that it was great.Food: 5/5"

"I had a disappointing experience at Mitchell's, with a long wait and a refund on my food. However, I decided to try the fish and chips at the restaurant across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service - I received my order in just 15 minutes. Not only did I get the same amount of food and dessert, but I also saved $10 compared to what I would have paid at Mitchell's. The quality of the meal was excellent as well."

"We've been going here for years. Food was always good. But wow did the service go down hill. Waiter disappeared on us for a long time, then when the food came out, it was slightly incorrect....and cold. Then we didn't see him again. Usually waiter's come back to see how you're doing if we need ketchup, napkins....etc.. we were asking other waiters that passed by but they just gave dirty looks. I guess we didn't belong to them. Then we asked the bus boy for more coffee and he came back within seconds. LOL. I should've left him the tip. A burger and an egg sandwich $35. Not worth the crappy service. What a shame."

"First visit. Come on! Extra-large menu selection....a e.g. Don't forget the vow!! Great prices! Had a feta cheese omelet. Yummy! Coffee cup never empty. Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean, sanitary, well spaced tables. A great family square...Kids welcome. Service. Very recommended!"

"I really enjoyed the $20 breakfast at this restaurant! The boss may have had a bit of an attitude, but the food was delicious. While it's labeled as a Cuban restaurant, I feel like it offers more than just Cuban flavors. As an Asian person, I found the food to be to my liking. I can't wait to come back and dine here again!"

"We had just arrived in New Haven for an afternoon visiting the Yale campus and were looking for lunch near our hotel Graduate New Haven and the nearby parking garage. This place looked clean and had a nice outdoor patio, although we chose the cooler, less crowded indoor seating. We split a Caesar salad. He had a Chicken gyro, which I had the traditional Lamb gyro. Absolutely yummy! And generous portions. Friendly welcoming staff!!"

"So glad I walked up the street from my Dr. appt. and discovered this place!! My only regret is not ordering the Pastrami! Had the chili dog with some fries and an iced tea. Service was awesome! I read up on the history while I ate and felt like a part of it just being there. I went to my appointment and came back to order dessert. The gentlemen at the counter pointed out all the go-to desserts for me and I even had help with my selections by a lady from New York that's a regular! I bought $26 worth of desserts alone to bring home to the family and hour and a half east. Definitely going back for rou d 2!"
