Once you walk through the doors you will see why this is a LI local Favorite. You will Start humming your favorite Billy Joel song because after all this was his favorite spot as a kid. I had a Buffalo slice and as I said it had a twist?Sesame Seeds on the crust what a great surprise. It reminded me of so many great spots from my childhood in Brooklyn. I finished up with a ?Sal?s Sensational Italian Ice? incredible, I have not had an ice so good since Court Pastry Shop on Court Street in Brooklyn that has been doing it for 75 years?Sal and team have outdone themselves with Ices. This should be a destination spot for ices. Ralphs is like eating a cheeseburger compared to a steak you will get with Sal.
