"I recently dined at Pantry, located in Long Island City, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. The restaurant's exterior and display seemed enticing, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were met with overpriced, oily food that did not meet our expectations. To begin with, the menu did not display any prices. In hindsight, we should have asked for the prices, but we didn't anticipate the cost to be as exorbitant as it turned out to be. My wrap and my friend's burrito were both far more expensive than we could have imagined for such subpar quality.Speaking of quality, the dishes were a major letdown. What we received bore no resemblance to the appetizing food we had imagined. Both the wrap and the burrito appeared almost identical warm, soggy, and dripping with oil. The flavors were muddled, and it was difficult to discern the individual ingredients in the dishes. Not only was the food disappointing, but it also left us feeling rather ill due to the excessive oil. It's a shame that a restaurant with such potential failed to deliver on the most crucial aspect: the food. Given our experience, I cannot recommend Pantry in Long Island City to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch."
