"My husband and I were in the mood for a good burger when we made a reservation at Napkin Burger. We both ordered the truffle burger. They came exactly as ordered. We were happily eating them until we both bit into somethin hard. We spit out the offending bits only to find it was bone. We each had a nasty piece of bone! We called the waitperson over who seemed dismayed and said she'd show the bones to the manager. We carefully finished our burgers. We heard nothing from the manager. We asked our server who was puzzled but went to find the manager. She reported back. She said the meat was ground fresh daily and what we had found in our burgers was gristle. Now, did he really think we couldn't tell the difference between gristle and hard bone? Moreover his answer was a non answer. When the meat is ground is not the issue. He never once came over to say sorry. We weren't asking for any accommodation. We just wanted it noted but a good manager should have come over to, at the very least, apologize. And as an aside, a friend in the restaurant business said Napkin Burger gets it's ground beef from Pat La Frieda and doesn't grind it daily themselves. This is poor management on several levels. Be careful if you eat there."

"Visiting Woody's classic grill is like taking a trip back in time. The 50s style diner is a true American gem, and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating. "Been there multiple times because of convenience. Main problem is the food is never hot. Most of it is premade and then just put together. I've had burgers, crispy chicken sand, breakfast croissants, etc. nothing is Ever hot. The cheese on my sandwiches are cold and not even beginning to melt. Fries lukewarm at best. Soups are not home made, but they are warmer than the food. Don't mind paying the prices if the food was hot. That's why I only stop when short on time."

"Update from 07/26/2021 Today's Visit 09/26/21 Excellent Customer Service Delicious Food! This review is an update from a pervious review I gave two months ago. We were invited by the restaurant owners to comeback for a complementary meal on the house. My husband and I appreciate that Chicago Waffles West Loop wanted to take the opportunity to correct the mistake from our first visit. Our experience this time around was wonderful and I have nothing but positive comments. The owners reached out to us via email with their sincerest apologies about our first visit and wanted to make it up to us. They invited us back. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon, we had a reservation for 1pm. We were greeted by the owner. We were seated in a wonderful table in a cozy area. I ordered the Cheddar Waffles and Beef Brisket with Mimosa. My husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with Berry Mojito. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, well seasoned, the waffles were light and fluffy on the inside while golden crispy brown on the outside. I enjoyed every bite. My husband says his chicken was tender and juicy, his mojito was delicious blended well, smooth, just right. The owners also provided us with a complementary waffle flight of chocolate, red velvet, green tea, and buttermilk waffles to go. Overall this experience was great. I highly recommend Chicago Waffles West Loop. Its a great breakfast or brunch location for family, friends, dates, etc."

"We scheduled a reservation for 9:30 on Sunday. We did this so we have a table. Lately if we try to go on Sunday we can't get a table without a reservation. This time even though we had a reservation they did not have a table for us and wanted us to share a table with another party. What is the point of scheduling a reservation? Then we noticed that the table next to us had their dogs at the table. This is the second time this week we were at this location and people had their dogs in the restaurant. This was not a service dog, no identification, just a pet. When we asked the server when they started letting dogs in the reservation she said an untrained staff who was handling the front desk let them in without asking. It doesn't matter if we like the food it's getting too frustrating to try and eat here anymore."

"Good food with a pleasant atmosphere and nice patio (for good weather). A great place to catch brunch or lunch while in Corpus Christi or in between trips to the beach. It was seemingly popular as there were lots of people getting food on the weekend when we stopped by, but there was no wait to find a table. We tried a variety of sandwiches, soup, and the turkey sausage mash. All were reasonably good. Prices were maybe a little high, but definitely worth it if looking to eat local (rather than something from a chain). The staff was nice and patient, though it was sometimes hard to hear them with all the people at tables and in line to order. The staff were helpful about what was gluten free, but there wasn't a whole lot that was gluten free past sandwiches with gluten free bread and salads. My gluten free compatriots were definitely jealous of the non-gluten free breads and options. I hear they have a good gluten free desert, but they ran out before we got an opportunity to try it."

"I recently stayed at the Nolitian Hotel and unfortunately my experience was extremely negative. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone based on the poor quality of service and accommodations.Upon arrival, I was informed that the room I had booked and agreed upon was not available. This lack of organization and attention to detail was highly disappointing and set a negative tone for the rest of my stay.To make matters worse, the hotel had no hot water most of the time . This made showering and other basic hygiene needs incredibly difficult and uncomfortable. For a hotel claiming to be a 4-star establishment, this lack of basic amenities is unacceptable.Adding to my discomfort was the fact that the hotel was very dirty and not maintain at all . It was clear that housekeeping was not up to par, as there were visible stains on the sofa and other surfaces. This lack of cleanliness made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable during my stay.Finally, the service I received at the hotel was extremely poor. Staff members seemed indifferent to my concerns and requests, and I was left feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest.In conclusion, the Nolitian Hotel in Manhattan was a major disappointment and I would not recommend it to anyone. The lack of hot water, dirty accommodations, and poor service make this hotel a subpar choice for any traveler looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Dont go there!!!"

"We cannot stop raving about our dining experience at Rapscallion from last night. The food, the ambiance and the service were all on point. We came on a cold rainy night, so the interior get warm and inviting with exposed brick and a well stocked bar. For food we had Brussels, the pork chop, salmon and chicken and dumplings—all perfectly cooked. No bite left behind! What really made the whole experience was THE SERVICE!! Our waiter was friendly and approachable. When on the fence on a glass of wine, he suggested one that he thought was a better glass and $2 cheaper than the one I asked about. He chatted with us about other spots to hit while we were in Dallas. Then to top it off, he gave us a complimentary dessert for being from out of town! Will be back on future trips to Dallas."

"Our first touch point was a bit painful with a long waiting time, but after that it was amazing! Ryan one of the managers jumped in and from there it was stellar. Maria served us breakfast and she was so friendly and good in her role. The Veggie mushroom stir fry and veggie impossible burgers are excellent. Drinks are really nice. Bar area is beautiful and Lucy is on the ball behind the bar. I'd just come back, even if I didn't stay here. You also have close access to the pool and beach in a bay. The beach club Lava Lava has a good location. But this place has great food and drinks and service. Just 5 stars."

"We had an excellent breakfast at West Side Market cafe while visiting the market. There was a short wait for a table, but less than 10 minutes and they texted us when our table was ready so we could continue browsing the market. The food was good, with large portions and reasonably priced. I had the hot mess which is scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage gravy over home fry potatoes."
