"I’m so glad we wound up stopping here because the other place we were going to was closed. I love oldschool diners, especially the outdated roadside Americana ones with steel exteriors…. But they almost never have anything vegan. This place has an entirely separate vegan menu, where just about every diner classic is accounted for. The food was fantastic, and so was the overall vibe of the space."

"Always good. I haven't been home for over 20 years, so of course I have a rapa scrap and hot cake. My sister is on a keto diet and I can't remember what it was that she ordered, but I know she loved it. They also have a huge Boston cream pie there and super thick lemon mellissas and what looked like Teramasu. I would recommend anyone looking for a good real diner should go to Towson Diner."

"Best pancake, waffle and crepe selection around. Serving sizes are generous. Strawberry cheesecake pancakes are divine! Omelettes are yummy. Be advised: Fruit cup is mainly melon (not watermelon! Kid friendly!! Food comes to the table fast. ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW: Handicap parking spaces are mere steps from the door. There is a very small alcove with a hard right angle to get into the restaurant. This might be hard in a wheelchair. Tables and booths for seating. Restrooms are individual rooms, not stalls."

"The food was a bit bland. The mashed potatoes were not really mashed (big chunks of potatoes) and the green beans were a bit soft. When we asked for bread at the table, we were told that bread was an appetizer that the restaurant would have to charge us for. I know that Covid has devastated the restaurant industry, but I believe that is why consumers are paying nearly $30.00 for a fried chicken cutlet. I have been going to restaurants since the restrictions were lifted and no restaurant that I visited has charged for bread or rolls. What’s next, a napkin cleaning fee?"

"Even for a typically slow Thursday, it seemed like a restaurant as good as Umberto's should have been much busier. The atmosphere was pleasantly old school, just like our dinner. We started with a bowl of delicious lentil soup and garlic rolls. For our main course, we chose the meat lover's pizza, which was the perfect size and had a variety of amazing toppings. The crust was also delicious! Our bartender, Jeff, was attentive and made us feel like regulars. The large screen TVs were all showing sports as well. This is a place that still holds onto old world values, which is becoming increasingly rare in today's South Florida. Thankfully, Umberto's still has it! We will definitely be returning."

"2nd chance. The first time they double billed me and had to go through my bank to get it fixed. The second time, I placed an order for four people. The subs had hardly any filling in them. It was all roll. I ended up giving my sub to my son to fill him up. There was hardly any steak and cheese in his sub roll. My nephew didn't get any sauces sent with his chicken finger sub. He had to eat the sub dry. They refused to bring to me the sauces that I requested. Absolutely horrible. I gave them ample opportunities to step up and they are just getting worse. No more chances. Moving on."

"Went Wednesday, the evening before Thanksgiving. Got an awful awful and a sundae with a brownie in it. It was DELICIOUS!, The service was extremely personable and professional. The same gentleman who took my order also made it. Such a nice, guy! Made it exactly as I asked with a smile. I appreciate his proficiency and expertise. "Just ate here for the first time with family. The atmosphere was very approachable and casual, we were greeted and told we could seat ourselves when we entered. There 's a bar side and a dining room in the restaurant, and we decided to sit in a booth on the bar side because we thought it was a little cozier and actually quieter than the dining room. After we sat down, a waitress was right with us to bring water, and came back quickly to get our drink orders. She was friendly and consistently there when we needed something but not over attentive. I started with their house Blackberry Sangria (red wine base). It was a lot sweeter than I was expecting (and went down super easy as a result) but very tasty. They also had a Peach Sangria with white wine, which my parents ordered and I tasted, and this was equally good. Then I got my salad and breadsticks appetizer. The breadsticks were really nice they were like a homemade version of an Olive Garden breadstick. I loved their Italian dressing too, it was very vinegar y. I had the Lobster Ravioli for my entree. I really liked the unique touch of the seafood cream sauce instead of a plain white sauce, and the filling was delicious. For dessert, I had the Tiramisu, and had a taste of the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake and Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake that my parents ordered. The cake was a little crumbly but still good, and otherwise everything was lovely. The cheesecake might 've been my favourite for the texture which was like heaven for the one bite that I had. The portions were really generous (my mom and I had leftovers), and the prices are great for how much we got and how good it was."

"If you're looking for a family atmosphere, or just something laid back with a nostalgic vibe this is a great place! I'd suggest going on an empty stomach if you want a meal and ice cream because the servings were plentiful. I did spend about $20 a person but keep in mind that we had a meal and dessert. If you have one or the other it would obviously cost less....and sometimes ice cream for dinner hits the spot, I'm just saying. I am on vacation and I can honestly say I have every intention of visiting again before I leave... which is a big deal for me because when I go on vacation I like to try as many different places as possible.... highly recommend!"

"Terrible terrible service here and no one cares. No one acknowledged we were even there. Then when we were seated the waitress started taking our order right away and as she did I noticed the 3 behind us were leaving. I pointed it out to the waitress and she chewed us out and said it’s because people want to talk instead of order. After that completely uncalled for exchange we told Her we would just leave and she quickly turned and stormed off. The last time we were there they were also rude and people were waiting and just left. They move like snails and have no idea how to multi task and seem to never care. This is the most pathetic service I’ve ever had and I will never return to this place again and it’s literally the closest to my house. The entire team seemed to congregate behind the bar and linger there so it’s no wonder they can’t keep up and people stream in and right back out. They look at the people waiting with complete contempt. Completely unprofessional in every way. My family went there Sunday and was treated terribly by a different waitress so this is definitely a management issue. I see the manger ques up boilerplate responses yet made zero effort while all this is happening around them. Spare that here"
