"A diamond in the rough. At first glance, it looks like another pizza joint. It's really much more. You have made an extensive menu of Italian food in house from scratch. It is a half-open kitchen so you can actually observe how they do the dough and **** the raviolis. You go the extra length to brush the edges of the pizza crust with garlic butter as it comes out when the oven. Easy additional touches. The food is amazing! The very talented cook expresses its creativity by running specialties with seasonal and local ingredients. The prices on the menu were accurate, they should be. Then there is the staff! attentive, friendly and detailed not miss this staff. I visit Vinnys regularly and never had a bad experience. Every time. A diamond in the rough."

"Sushi Square with a fantastic half price Happy Hour all day menu on Mondays. Sushi rolls on the boat is worth the attempt and I must say I was very impressed with the soup and salad. Our server was fine, I give her a passport that they might go home a lot, as this visit was 2 days to Hurricane Ian. We enjoyed celebrating our friends' birthday here. My first time in this restaurant, they have a very cool sculpture and amazing decoration, I love the lights. The drinks were top notch. There is plenty of space for strollers and wheelchair users. The parking lot is extremely small for the plaza, it is not great car friendly, and of great I speak 15 passenger cars and large high pick-up truck. Then I would visit others again."

"We stopped in here in an effort to find a quick bite to eat at a good price that had a bathroom. This place definitely had all of that! The food we had was also wonderful. I now know I have not had real lamb gyro now that I have had it here lol. The amount of lamb gyro they gave us on the sandwich was astounding, it was packed with meat. They were not shy at all and the price for the amount of food they gave was unbelievable. That is how you keep returning customers! Thank you for this experience:"

"I live nearby and opted for pickup. My order was hot, ready on time, and I was greeted with a smile! I tried the Wok Star Hot Huh, which was very tasty, but not as spicy as I expected. Don't let the red pepper fool you; the spiciness in this dish is quite mild. To Wok Star: when someone asks for "hot chicken," they are ready for something spicy! Don’t hold back! A little more seasoning could take it from a 7 to a full 10. I was also slightly disappointed that the fried rice I paid extra for didn’t have any eggs. It’s fresh and of good quality, definitely not your typical Chinese food. I’ll definitely be back soon, as I can’t wait to try more of their dishes or maybe sample something from their very tempting cocktail menu. That could be a new favorite!"

"Kimo’s is the real deal. This hidden Mediterranean gem in rockaway has some of the best falafels in the city. I enjoy the traditional falafel pita with tomatoes, cucumbers and hummus, with tahini and lemon dressing. As a vegan, it’s a must have every time I’m in town. The atmosphere is lovely as well. The family who run the restaurant treat you like a family. And there’s a great backyard patio too. If you like good, authentic Mediterranean food, Kimo’s is well worth the stop."
