"My cousin took me out in the boonies before eating, but Pier 51 is a local almost hidden jewel for large seafood and also a very good cheeseburger! I had never heard of green shrimp, but they call popcorn shrimps Calabash, medium green and big is still Jumbo. Your menu is huge!! I ordered a large plate of green shrimps with homemade onion rings, unsweetened tea. Scott ordered Kalabash shrimps, French fries and half tea. His wife ordered a sweet tea a cheeseburger and seriously fries (they don't like seafood) that Burger had to be 10 ounces.. it was thick!! In the dessert cooler they had coconut cake, chocolate overload cake and a few other choices that looked delicious, but I was too full to try dessert. The waitress is super, but a tad is understaffed, so if you go... be understanding (you still get great service and great food)."
