"Place looked lovely, but food very disappointing...Sandwich was tiny...being in the USA I expected portions to be of a decent size..in the UK our restaurants would not have been able to serve this, as it breaks all the rules of our Trade Description Act...as it definitely wasn't an adults size"

"Nice hotel but far below 5 star under new management. Pros: rooms were clean and tastefully furnished very comfy bed and linens great location walking distance to the National mall attentive staff Cons: the breakfast was truly inedible. Honestly an abomination for a supposedly luxury hotel. 3 star continental breakfast at best. Not even espresso was included, no veggies or salmon, just basic scrambled eggs and frozen ?egg bites? and sausages and some oatmeal?"
