"The authentic Dominican cuisine at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. We tried the breakfast (Desayuno), beef empanadas, and Papa relleno, and all of the dishes were served piping hot and extremely tasty! The empanadas were generously filled with beef, making them even more satisfying. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food."

"UPDATE: tonight's dinner was disappointing. No plantains. No draft beer, only $5.00 12 oz. bottled beer. The indoor dining room smells musty. Unfortunate.We enjoyed the pork chops whole red snapper. Delicious green, side salad. Reasonable beer prices, good variety. Apparently, the menu is inspired by Colombia, Peru, Venezuela Puerto Rico. We are looking forward to another visit soon!"

"They were not even open. They had only opened that Friday how was it closed two days after grand opening. They did not even send us an email that they would be closed. We drove from LA to SD which is a two hour drive . A notification of emergency shut down should have been communicated. Gas is too high for them to not inform customers not to waste their time. On top of all that it was for a Birthday celebration imagine that smh totally RUINED"

"recently we celebrated our 32nd anniversary with a fabulous dinner at jj s at the copperpot in laurie, missouri! beginning with a wonderful salad with a hearty house sweet vinaiigrette dressing, followed by delicious entrees of sweet and hearty pork and grill, and ended with a huge piece of decadent red cake with our culinary experience. the ambiente and the love for detail in service and presentation was the tip of the line. we recommend it very much!"
