"This is a great local Chinese spot that is inexpensive, gives generous portions, and has a wide variety of northern and southern mainland Chinese cuisine (leaning toward Cantonese). My favorite dish here is their mushu it has a delicious wok fried taste! I’ve also gotten wonton soup and a vegetable dish w/ mushroom dish that were great."

"If you want to truly enjoy dim sum or Chinese food especially Seafood this is the number one spot in San Francisco! I always look forward to driving into the Richmond District to enjoy their food and the top notch staff that makes sure that your every whim is accommodated! Yesterday my significant other and myself had the entire place to ourselves I now know exactly what time which I'm not going to say here otherwise I'll see all of you there and I won't get a booth LOL but I now know a time that allows me to go in and be the king of the roost! To the staff thank you the food is always supremely amazing! To the server's thank you for being so diligent and making sure that our every need is met! So looking forward to coming back very soon in fact I wish I could go there now LOL"

"The dim sum here was fresh and delicious. It was some of the best seafood dim sum we have had. They had other cooked dishes on the menu too. They had a charge per person for tea. The place wasn 't fancy, but everything we ordered was prepared well. The prices may have been a little higher than at some other places, but the quality was worth it. As we were the only people in the restaurant who looked 'touristy ', we were given forks without even asking for them. We weren 't offended. We appreciated the service. Each table was covered with multilayered plastic tablecloths and as each table was cleared, the top layer was rolled up with any trash and removed leaving a clean cloth below it. We intend to return with family and friends if we are in the area."

"This is a fabulous place to eat!! We were in town to pick up our new car and our hotel proposed to go to San Carlos for dinner. We chose this restaurant because I love the egg foo yung. That was the BEST I've ever had. I'm so sorry I don't live nearby!! You can't eat wrong here. The staff is great, the food is exceptional."

"Truly Dreadful! I have been eating at all sorts of restaurants for over fifty, years, and is the worst meal I have ever had. The decor was shabby and the service was spotty. We had the egg foo young with beef and it was overcooked and had no beef in it. We also had the ginger beef with ginger and it the beef was chewy, not well cooked and flavorless. Because the appetizers were very tasty, we only asked to be not charged for the two entrees. We got a flat refusal,from the chef/manages and she was rude about it too. Maybe they just serve slop to people who appear to be tourists and good food to those they know to be locals. Stay away!"

"We had arranged another lunch for 6 people at this restaurant having had a great experience about a year ago at the same place. We were very disappointed with the restaurant this time. Previously we had been able to eat family style, sharing different dishes that were all excellently prepared and fresh. This time we were told we could not do that and had to order off the standard lunch menu. Most of the dishes were below the average Chinese lunch standard, even their signature dish of Pot Stickers. Did this restaurant get sold? We will not be going back there again."

"for years here and from good reason, peters never disappointed! excellent service, takeout is always hot and fresh (even if I drive 30 minutes back to home to eat it) and the entire menu is delicious. we love the Mongolian bark, the sesame chicken and the waving soup. they can also say that peters use very high-quality meat in its dressed, it is always so tender, flavored to perfection, and delicious. the owner is a great guy and is a jewel in and from himself. in any case gives them the little neighboring feeling in the heart of denver."
