"In this restaurant because it was recommended. When we arrived, it was quiet, about 3 tables. It was at 7:45. Server brought us to our table we ordered because we had seen the menu in front of the hand, and since we knew that they closed at 9:00 we wanted to be fast. Server got our drinks as we waited for our food, more people came in. It took almost an hour until our food arrived. Our server came back once to fill Soda again, never came to let us know whether the kitchen has experienced a waiting period or whether there was a problem. Our server was just ahead and spoke between the other servers. I could see that our food is in the window and the server took a while to get it because it was too busy talking to colleagues. After our food arrived, not much was said to wait for our food. An apology or recognition that it was almost an hour. I asked her for a box and the check we made with our food. I understand that restaurants are busy, but on our arrival the restaurant was not busy and the server did not interact with us all the time when we were there until she brought our food. When we asked her for a box, she said okay and brought us our stuff. Easy customer service and attention. Very disappointed will not come back."

"Very Rude Manager! Run! What happened to this place? Bad customer service. Pictures included #GoogleLocalGuide? #Shrimptaco? No. Hello people, I use love, love, love? I have eaten this place often in the past. I eat outdoors today, I decided to get out. It was about a year or more since I was here. I came on the back in the outside area and was immediately stopped. I was asked if I looked in or pulled out. I was redirected to go and go through the front. No problem? I put my order and asked to use the toilet room. The young lady raised the necklace and when I left, this very rude man 3x my size, goes and stands before me and said: "Excuse Me! Where are you going????? UNACCEPTABLE to talk to a customer in this way! I said to the bathroom! His answer was that you shouldn't come here. I said I can't use the bathroom! The manager said you were back! I asked him how should I come to the bathroom? He said you were using the BACK Entrance! How do you know when I went to the back door, I was told I had to pierce the FRONT entry!???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I could give you a ZERO. $5 for three overcooked, dried, over salted shrimps with Globs sauce to hide these shrimps. Everything was cold. Shame on you?????? I'm finished with #MitiMiti"

"I've never had Oyster's Rockerfeller and until the first time I was like Thor... BRING ME ANOTHER! I was here for my birthday and the room was good for our party size(9) and the food was well cooked. Prime Rib so delicately melted it in the mouth, and the crab cakes had so much taste! "Had a disappointing late lunch yesterday with family. They're visiting from far away, keep kosher, and have few options when it comes to dining out. Hit up Borough Park as it has the most restaurant options on the East Coast. They were hankering for Chinese, and we hit up China Glatt in Borough Park, Brooklyn. We saw a sign outside advertising lunch specials that run till 4 pm. We popped in. Only one table occupied. Love dining out off peak! There was a sushi chef by the entrance chopping away and a woman at the register on the phone. Waited over 5 minutes. No one is sitting or talking to us. I asked her if we could seat ourselves, and she directed us to take any round table. Sit down. 10 minutes, no service or menus. Ask the same cashier for the menu and say wait for the waiter. 5 minutes and the waiter shows. Are we ready to order? Duh. No! He brings us tablets with the menus and comes back a bit later to check. We want to order the lunch special, but he denies us as it's 402. We walked in a while before that, and if given menus, we would've ordered. He checks with management, and they say no as it's Chanukah. It's a minor holiday, isn't it? Why did they put the sign outside today? Didn't they figure this out 7 days back? So we order the sesame chicken, crispy beef and chicken and broccoli. Wontons with hot mustard and sweet sauce come out. Mustard was OK. Sauce is not similar to what I'd get in the Boston area. Not good, IMHO. Wontons are very greasy and oily. No one had more than one bite at the table. The sesame chicken was decent and had a good crunch. Crispy beef meh and chicken and broccoli are also not great. It was really difficult getting any attention or service here. We were late due to the long dining experience and had to leave. Took a long time to pay the check. If we saw the manager, assuming they were onsite, we would've said something. IMHO portion size, quality of food, taste, and meh service wasn't worth the $30 an entree price. I'm actually embarrassed we took them there. Not again! Didn't take photos of the food as it didn't look appetizing. Ambiance was meh. Looks old and tired inside. Anyhow, this is our opinion. Wish we had better news to share."

"We went on a sat night with reservations.. it was crazy busy. We were sat within 10 min. The only negative..when waiting benches are full and it's pouring outside, you are pretty much standing around the booths at the front of the restaurant. The server was nice and attentive. The food was decent... not a fan of their chicken it was kind of rubbery. The garlic bread was delicious. Super loud in there so you could only speak to the person next to you unless you wanted to yell."

"5 Stars, not because it’s expensive (it’s not), or exclusive (I’d call it inclusive), although Blake is so good he could easily accomplish both, but 5 Stars because this place is phenomenal! We keep a very short list of “must eats”, for our 2 weeks in DC every year (so we can visit new places, of course), but this place easily became a “must”. They have hush puppies, my favorite puppy, they’re super good and the gator app is superb! Both are “must haves” every visit. Lauren is a tremendous working owner, easy to talk too, very friendly and always making sure each guest is happy. The andouille that they source is serious andouille! In both their jambalaya and the adult Mac n cheese (also available in vegetarian as per my daughters new found choice). Now, about those grits... some of the best grits north of the Mason-Dixon, and being originally southern, I’ve had my fair share. It should be available with every dish! Finally, the Key Lime Brûlée... words almost escape me... Mrs. Moynihan (of former the Firehouse, Boca Raton) would definitely either approve or be totally jealous, it’s just fantastic. This place is so very definitely recommended when you’re up here. Reasonably priced, great for families, and fabulous food. If you do decide to pass this up, then your DC experience is just not fully realized."

"My husband enjoyed his mushroom Swiss burger. On the other hand my turkey dinner was terrible. The butternut squash was ok, the spinach was delicious.The turkey had no flavor to it, the stuffing was very salty and dry, just a lot of bread. The gravy was thin and tasteless. All and all a huge disappointment. Even the coffee was lousy!"

"Made the trip to Davenport's in cumberland after we went to the movies. I have always drove past this spot but never stopped in until last night. I ended up ordering the Sheppard's pie and also ordered the queen cut pime rib. It was definitely worth the trip, ended up taking the rest to go with a slice of their homemade chocolate cake. "I had a very good experience here for my very first time. I ordered a salmon sandwich and had french fries. I was very pleased with the fact that they fulfilled my order as I requested. The salmon sandwich is technically supposed to be served cold. However, I requested that they heat the salmon and they did. The restrooms were clean and the server was nice. I don 't really have a lot to say about the experience except that it was a good time. It 's definitely a feel good restaurant. Hence my giving them four stars as opposed to five."
