"Throw me one of those fantastic hushpuppies!. It is clean, their staff is always friendly, their iced tea is always cold and good.This is an old rest. that has really great food. Smoked pork, smoked chicken, and catfish fillets are my favorite. But they have other really good stuff like their ribs and even their chicken livers. You are served fries or backed potatoes along with vinegar slaw. <br/ Now I left the best for last their HUSHPUPPIES! Their are served to you as soon as they get your drinks, they bring you a basket and they keep on bringing them until you tell them to stop. And you don't want them to stop is the problem! lol. They are so good and tender and not too much onion. Also dont forget the white BBQ sauce for the chicken. yum.<br/ Now for two negatives about the place. 1. they only have vinegar coleslaw and I do not care for this. Give me a simple mayo, cabbage, carrot coleslaw and Im a happy gal. : So I really feel they should add this too the menu because I have heard others inquire about it also, so it is just not me that feels this way. <br/ 2. their salads. the salads are sad, sad, BAD! You order a salad (because you dont like vinegar slaw and you get a wedge of lettuce slightly torn apart that has usually nothing else but sometimes their is a bit of tomato and some dressing. And it is usually wilty and brownish. That is not a salad! that is a saucer of lettuce with dressing. come on would two slices of cucumber, a wedge of tomatoe, a couple rings of onion and a sprinkle of carrot strings hurt!!! now that would make any salad eater happy."
