"Mixed feelings here. The ambiance and service were excellent. Most of the food was wonderful. The cole slaw and the baked beans were the best I’ve ever had and I’m 74 years old and have been in a LOT of barbecue restaurants. My wife’s brisket sandwich was large and flavorful, the brisket cooked perfectly. Here’s the drawback. I ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. What I received was the smallest portion of ribs I’ve ever seen outside a sampler plate. It was maybe a third of a slab, and that pared right down to the bones. What meat there was, and it wasn’t much, was also perfectly cooked and delicious but there was just too little of it. Price points were good and I have to recommend this place just don’t order the ribs."

"We walked in and the hostess told us there were no tables available even though only one table in the entire restaurant was occupied and everything else was empty. We were given the option to sit at the bar or outside when it was raining hard. We sat at the bar but I felt like I had been cheated so I called the restaurant on my mobile phone from the bar and the hostess told me that the restaurant was open seating and that tables were available if I walked in and that they only accept reservations for parties of 5+. This made me feel very disappointed and I went up to her and asked her if she could sit us at a table to which she flatly told us no table is available even though I could see at least half the restaurant still had empty tables.By that time my partner had ordered the Tuscan white bean bacon and kale soup which was very watery and lacked flavor. We paid and left but won’t be returning to this place for sureThe city of Danville will not be getting my business anytime soon if ever!"

"PRIME is an outstanding restaurant but bring your wallet...we had eggplant parmigiana,short ribs(outstanding) , cheese/meats app(shared by 2), a free birthday dessert, one glass white wine 2 glasses of red wines= $100+$30tip. The "prime steakses were in the $50+ range would have pushed our tab much higher. I f you 'd like to save money head to the bar for the bar for pizzas less than $20. PRIME is incredible popular 7 usually crowded so make a special event some days beforehand. To celebrate a birthday, anniversary etc Carbones PRIME is the place to enjoy!!"

I have heavy food allergies to fish and shells and the waitress, Willow, has great care in explaining what options were safe for me to eat and then properly informed the kitchen. Even the manager came by and imagined and followed to discuss my allergies and safety. Up and beyond the service. All employees were very attentive, polite and we had no problems with everything. Not to mention the food was incredible."

"Great restaurant! We came here at least once a week before we moved out of town. It was pleasantly surprised that the aromas were just as good as we remembered them. Special #1 for me, Cattle Fajitas for two for my wife and daughter. Everything was great. Salsa was smooth and had a satisfying kick. Queso was creamy and tasted by liquid gold. Lol. "after a year rubbed back in the mill and was pleasantly surprised by the updated menu with additional vegan options. there are many beside dishes, a caesar salad, flatbread, appetizers, and currently a curls on the dinner menu that are all clearly labeled vegan. our waitress was vegan and was well versed in recommendations. they had vegan brioche dinner rolls paired with a parsley olive oil type di that was phenomenal. we shared a few side parts and a flatbread everything was very tasteful and beautifully plated. the chef really have some thoughts in some creative vegan dishes that leave their taste bud entertained."
