"My family met here for my mother 's 74th birthday lunch. Local Oak is wonderful...we had the best time. I loved the atmosphere and service! The menu served on Sunday was for Blunch loved it! Their version of chicken fried steak is so good, and my kids even asked for more food! We all had their choco pie I need that recipe, for sure. This place is our new favorite in Bishop Arts for meeting up with friends or family. Can 't wait to go back at night soon. Really delightful."

"This place had a great atmosphere and live band. Eating was great drawn chicken had amazing taste and the ribs also did. Nice little sharp kick on the ribs. Love that there was boat access from the lake and staff was helpful and very friendly"
