"absolutely brilliant place! one of the best and coolest little bbq joints I ever had and I was on 100 bbq joints all over the country. I would give it up to 5 on my list. Mac cheese was phenomenal. mushrooms were phenomenal. brisket was really good. cornbread was good. pickles were good. homemade sauces were all good. they also gave me a free pecan pier ice cream for my birthday, which was absolutely out of this world. service was good. I will be back in any case!"

"the jackknife is legit. may be a bit sharp for some people, but I love that. my partner and I always split it, some fries and the sunflower salad that, while simple, could be my favorite salad in kc. the combo of the 3 is a large balance."

"This establishment has the best bbq chicken wings!!! I’ve been here a total of three times and the first 2 times the food was amazing as well as the customer service. The 3rd time I went here I ordered take out and the food was questionable. The ribs were great as always but I really came for the chicken and it was sadly over cooked, dry and hard.
