"Lively atmosphere, modern decor, menu is a mix of steakhouse classics and seafood dishes with seasonal ingredients. However, we experienced serious service failures, including waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for our entrees to be delivered after our appetizers were cleared. Parties all around us that were seated long after we were seated had their entrees delivered within about 20-30 minutes. Our server and the manager kept apologizing and saying it would come out soon, but the delays kept happening. The manager comped us a dessert $15), but for having to wait well over an hour for our entrees, he really should have comped the entrees or the entire meal. I probably could’ve asked for this, but the point of hospitality is to make your guests feel like they had a great experience, not to be put into the position of having to “haggle” for an appropriate service recovery. I understand that mistakes happen, but the key is how you recover from those mistakes. When you charge nearly $40 for entrees, the service recovery should be exceptional when mistakes happen, but sadly, it wasn’t."
