"Located on Alberta street amidst a plethora of food options, Gumba stands out as a hidden gem. I was introduced to this place by my girlfriend who raved about their renowned Wednesday Sandwich Day. While initially categorized as an Italian pasta spot with a twist, Gumba truly impressed me with their elevated offerings. We made sure to visit on a Wednesday to indulge in their famous fried chicken sandwich, which easily ranks among the top 10 I've ever tried. The sandwich was crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of heat. We also sampled their burger and tater tots, with the burger offering a unique flavor profile but ultimately losing out to the delicious chicken. The tots were a standout side, especially when paired with the fantastic fry sauce generously provided by our server Eric, who was not only friendly and welcoming but also ensured we had a great dining experience. We even managed to persuade them to bring back their special Reuben sandwich on Wednesdays, a testament to our enjoyment and determination to return. True to our word, we revisited Gumba and tried their pasta and dessert, both of which exceeded our expectations with their unique flavors and top-notch service. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning for more culinary delights at Gumba."
