"I can’t decide if I like this place. The first time, the food was good, the service was good, but we were stuck in this awkward 2-top table outside the kitchen where you get nudged by passing people or locked in one place.The second time, the food was ok, but the service was subpar. Somehow we ended up at the same table. The waiter brought our drinks after a while, then we waited forever to order food. I had to ask about the specials. Midway through our meal, we ordered another round of drinks. He took the order and left the empty glasses on the crowded table. He brought the next round of drinks, and it looked like he was going to turn away, so I politely said, “Can you please take these glasses with you?” And he replied that he “knew how to do his job” in the most pretentious way. Quite frankly, he hadn’t indicated to us at all that he knew how to do his job. My boyfriend sat for a while with a bowl of leftover mussels sauce and it was a food runner who thought to ask if he wanted bread, which he promptly brought.There are plenty of other decent French places in Brooklyn at this price point."
