"The food was great with the exception of the vanilla-bean-crème-brake, which was not made with fresh vanilla beans. I was very disappointed by the service; I didn't know it was an apprenticeship night in Caprice. I don't think I need to ask a steak knife with my fillet, nor should I feel left in the dark when bread is placed on the table without mentioning where the oil or butter is. My waitress couldn't even open a bottle of wine and when she finally placed the wine cooler in front of me and then placed the bottle of wine next to him and left the table. A more experienced waitress quickly came to her help, but not fast enough. We felt like the service of the kind you would receive in a sports pub. It is a shame that a restaurant of this caliber would not rent, or properly train a waiting staff to the quality of the food that prepares it."
