"one of the best Italian culinary experiences I had in nyc. when passing on the east side of the city, if not, it is worth the effort. airy and open floor plan creates a very CA-style chic ambiente, and the personal is likely what makes this place a remarkable one. from the seating set to our server liz, we had only an amazing experience. for their lunch set menu, which was a delicious appetizer, followed by a hearty main dish and accompanied by discounted drinks. the orchideee was srumptious as well as her lumache bolognese, very hearty and filling. the salads were amazing, esp the chopped salat ‘siciliana’ with its crispy cicheremonies. can hardly wait to go back and try their other plates."
