"Tried for first time. Customer service was tops. All staff attentive not just person who seated you or server. They all seemed legit appreciative of customers. Price within range for area; not much more than my area. Menu has lot of selections. Meal came with one slice of toast so I asked for another, no issues. Nice serving size of bacon. Potatoes ok maybe need bit more seasoning. I didn't get pancakes or french toast but they looked good and large portion."

"Recently moved to Baltimore from Montgomery County and I was looking to find somewhere That has good tasty soul food closer to home. Did a GOOGLE search and happened upon this l as I was coming from out of town and decided to pick something up before I got home. Even though the reviews were nothing short of amazing, I was a little skeptical because so many times. I've read great reviews and the food would still be sub-par, but this was definitely a hit. I got the veggie platter because I didn't want anything too heavy late in the evening. Mac and cheese Candied Yams and Cabbage. Everything was absolutely delicious And the portion sizes were really big... I will be back to try more things!!!"

"It was my first experience and I loved the concept. There were very few people in the evening we were there, but we had a good time with the singer. I imagine it must be really nice atmosphere when it's full. Will definitely try again!"

"a group of us has decided to check this place as they have participated in the first dc vegan restaurant week. the chef took the entire menu vegan and wow it was great! it turns out that many of the elements in the menu have been locally outdated. the embellished fddel head color and asparagus appetizer were as charming as the fried green tomats with a thai basilikum peanut pepper. our escape was a rash: bucatini (home with morels (located) and ramps (wild zwiebel). it was phenomenal, so many layers of taste. a talk with the cook revealed that he takes care of prepping his ingredients, and that the menu is very vegan friendly outside the dc vegan restweek. our server was friendly and attentive. we're coming back!"

"Mouthwatering delicious. Nice surprise. We randomly picked this restaurant since it was near our hotel and near the concert venue we were headed to. Crystal provided top tier service. She was lively and made sure we received our food quickly."

"This charming location on H Street is really a gem. The interior spaces are well done and comfortable. There is a lovely bar to the left as you enter with tables in the main dining space farther back. The exposed brick wall adds ambiance but the space remains quietly elegant. The food is amazing! The Hapy Hour lamb appetizer was awesome! The dinner menu provides vegetarian options and everything is locally sourced and prepared perfectly. The owner was delightful and made our experience memorable with his suggestions and information about the menu items. All in all a wonderful experience we will repeat!"

"Their portions are so ridiculously small that you have to order two sandwiches to somewhat feel full (sometimes you can go up to 3)."
