"We have always loved Buddy’s. The barbecue has been delicious. I went in last week to get my free wings. I ordered 16 and fries. The wings were terrible… they were hard and overcooked… I put some water in the pan and heated them on low in the oven but it didn’t help. We ended up throwing them away. "Decent food, as some of the ribs were overcooked and very tough. The young lady at the register needs to listen a little closer to any requests when customers mention no bread or sauce and make sure it is notated. The bathrooms are very small and have no baby diaper change station."

"They were in Sevierville for a week and looked at this place, then they saw on their website to see if they were still open tonight and it said closed, So jumped in my truck and went towards Taube Forge area and saw that they were still open!!! This should really change on the website! Anyway, I wish I had the 1st or 2nd night I was here!! Omg the ribs were so good (pull from the bone and the sauce was perfect!! And this corn on the Cob was added the best with salt butter (very sweet, without that was good!! The potato salad was warm, where it was in the tray with the hot food, not a fan of potato salad and not really considered also not for Hush puppies again not a fan of those. The service very quickly friendly!! I would give a 4.75 out of 5!!"

"Great experience overall. This is significantly above average BBQ for way below average prices. Dining room and bathrooms were clean. The woman working the front counter could not have been friendlier, and even gave my 2 year old some animal crackers while we waited for our food. "Poor service and rude employees. Gave this place 3 chances. Each time was bad. Will ignore you until you say something. Will argue if you tell them they screwed up your order. "We love Buddy's and visit the Lenoir City location almost every Saturday for the “all you can eat ribs”. We were in Athens for an event and decided to try this location. The atmosphere was certainly different from what we are accustomed to. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. The staff was just a little off of their game but overall a good experience."

"Had the all you can eat ribs. This was the first time I wished I could eat more than I can. The ribs were meaty with just the right amount of smokiness to their flavor. I ate way too many and was stuffed to the gills but the discomfort was worth it. Their fries brought me back to the crisp hot fries of my youth. Too many restaurants today don't seem able to make a French fry with a crisp outside, tender inside but Buddy's has found that balance. I'll be back and back, and back!!!!"
