"TL:DR make them a reservation directly with restaurant list diebedarf we had excellent meals here and had happy with the amazing breakfasts and lunches. there are no more vegan listings on the menu and the waiters seem less clear on what vegan means (they initially proposed a queen, then eier). that was frustrating when we stayed in ojo santa fe with this restaurant in the head, and it seemed so promising because: 1) during booking, we were asked to all nutritional preferences / allergies that we 2) we called the hotel to ask if the restaurant really could do vegan breakfast my allergies and they said that it was no problem 3) we were asked to attend the check-in today, they didn't. the next morning, the waiter told us not to speak directly. we were informed how they would have done something if we only let them know. Finally he checked with the cook, asking for allergies and let us know that they could do something with tofu. after approx. 10 minutes he came and checked again about allegiances, obviously he didn't have it in. later he presented us a delicious but small breakfast, free of charge, consisting of damp spinach and tomato, tiny obscene and small egg shells filled with tasteful quinoa. I hope they have vegan options on the menu, as it is safer to dinate. if not, this restaurant should be removed. in the middle time, make sure to book directly with the restaurant!"

"Twenty Eight Atlantic is back! If you 've had unfortunate experiences at Wequasset in recent years, it 's time to try again. Not sure if it 's the new ownership or just a new attitude, but last evening was wonderful in every way. We let them know ahead of time that we were celebrating a friend 's recent triumph and they understood exactly what that meant. The best table in the house corner table at the windows overlooking the terraces with the ocean beyond and last evening, a shoreside wedding. Delightful. Three of us had the 7 course tasting menu (they allow substitutions! and one had the 5 course (variation at the same table! . Everything was fresh, inventive, incredibly flavorful, and a delight to look at, smell and taste. Warning the portions are larger than the typical tasting menu pace yourself (we sadly didn 't! . We started with enhancements of champagne (the Veuve Cliquot was excellent and caviar (our outstanding server coached us through the many build options they serve with your tin on ice! . And when it all was done, they brought out a post desert tray of homemade marshmallows, a heavenly chocolate ganache ball, and jellied pineapple and a gift for our guest of honor. Perfection. It cost a fortune. And was worth every penny. Go now because word will get out fast that this once grand dining room is back. It 'll be hard to get a table soon. On the way out we noticed that Thoreau 's was packed!"

"Leaf n Brew and Najashi are run by the same person in the same stall. I always rate good Ethiopian restaurants 5 stars since they aren't very common and aren't typically well known. If I were only comparing it to other Ethiopian restaurants I might give it 4 stars for nitpicky reasons. The food gets 5 stars. I ordered the Doro Wot and Injera. I rate the flavor the second best I've had #1 was in Jacksonville but they closed) in terms of both spice the flavorful combination of spices) and spiciness the level of spicy heat which I would describe as a low-medium). One note, which the owner mentioned, is that she uses chunks of chicken breast rather than whole drumsticks and thighs for ease of serving and eating, which was perfectly fine. It also included the traditional whole boiled egg. The only thing a little lacking was the tanginess of the Injera sourdough pancake). I prefer it sour like a proper San Francisco sourdough bread) but since some people aren't used to it I can understand why it's on the milder side.I also ordered the Ethiopian coffee which was served in an Ethiopian pot, came with sugar, and for ambiance, traditional incense on the side I don't generally like incense but this was quite nice and pleasant). The coffee was dark, roasty, caramely, unfiltered as it should be) and not bitter. The nit-picks I have are 1) it's in a food court and not well labeled. The building has a sign that says Najesh, but the food stall only shows Leaf n Brew which the owner plans to rectify). A picture of Injera is the only indicator that you're in the right place since it is not on the displayed menu so you have to ask for it or view it online). 2) it is priced for a sit down restaurant $20 for an Injera dish, $34 after coffee, tax, and tip). The owner was happy to talk with me and brought me my food, so if this would have been a full restaurant that price would be perfectly fine, but for a food court style it's more expensive than expected. However, those are fairly minor, so I still highly recommend this place if you want to try some Ethiopian near downtown Nashville!"
