"I hadn’t been to Claim Jumper in many years. I raved to my friends about the large Claim Jumper portions and their mud pie. My mouth was watering as we entered the restaurant looking forward to the meal. I was very disappointed to find out that Claim Jumper no longer serves Mud Pie! Additionally I looked at the menu and things had drastically changed. My boyfriend ordered fish and chips which was pathetic and he took a few bites and pushed the plate away. He next ordered the impossible burger but with a grilled chicken substitution. It was delicious. I had ribs remembering them from the past as being very good. This time they were mediocre. I don’t know if it’s because of COVID-19 or what. But Claim Jumper is not the same as it was. Their salad bar used to be spectacular. Now there’s no salad bar and no mud pie!. Claim Jumper used to stand out in a crowd with its large portions, salad bar and Mud Pie. I felt like It was at not impressive and just a very short step above a diner. It’s no wonder the restaurant was not busy on a Friday night. Claim Jumper corporate is missing their potential."
