"We came (2 adults 1 toddler) for my birthday as noted in tge reservation. The food quality was low, asked the waiter for fully cooked steak frites given I am pregnant, came out rare which I had to send back for more cook time. 10 mns later, I get the same meat, with half of it cooked through and the rest still rare. The side caesar salad was old and wilted, noted by the yellowed romaine lettuce. My husband’s chicken picata came out as a “glob” and the side veggies were not even cooked. Service was also very poor, we had to ask for plates and cutlery, which took forever, and when we got them, it was for us adults only and our child was never given a plate or cutlery so ate directly from our plates by hand. Given how poor and slow, we decided to end the dining experience earlier than expected and skipped dessert. No further attention was given to the fact it was my birthday, unlike other restaurants. 2/5, we would not be returning unfortunately."

"the first time here and it was amazing. the music, the lighting and the atmosphere is warming and comfortable. carlos g. was our server and he was very informatiw, helpful and down really pleasant. carlos g. increased our experience with its sweating and attention to details. I will recommend to everyone to get to the melting pot and if they want a 5-star experience, ask for carlos g. he is the best. it was worth the 1 hour drive that I will definitely be back."

"We are late here (parent day outside, long day, needed a nap before dinner! and asked if we could get food, the staff was courteous though it was a Saturday night after I was sure a long day. A table that opened so that we were immersed and the food was not disappointed. I got the beet salad and it was a taste explosion. Husband got the burger and said he had the best on weekends (of 4 burgers on weekends). The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We also enjoyed our cocktails French 75 (my favorite, hard to find!, Paper Plane, and Whiskey Daisy. So delicious. We definitely do this place regularly on our Martha's Vineyard trips!"

"We had a terrific breakfast here the other day. Our server was super! She was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. All of the food we had was fantastic! I can’t wait to go back to try more items. There were mixed reviews on the Ted’s tarts but that is only because my boys don’t care for shortbread cookies, I LOVED them and ordered one of each flavor to take back to NH with me. Loved our experience and will most definitely be back!!"

"The Melting Pot is all about the experience ... But unfortunately this experience was not really great. To start, the 4 course fondue was delicious The alpine cheese and mojo boil were super yummy.The only issue we had with the food was that the bread was hard and stale and the cheese board looked hastily tossed together. Back to the experience part of the meal, that 's where things for rough. Our waitress was friendly but she seemed like she was struggling so much to handle her tables and it was seriously impacting her level of service . She was scatterbrained... forgetting items every time she came to the table(normally not a big deal, but we lost count by the end of the night). It was a good thing we checked the menu before we came in since ordering was rushed and she said many negative things about the options. Overall the dinner itself was really tasty and fun to cook/dip out own food! We would definitely come back to do a cheese and chocolate night..."

"First time here, an adventure figuring out the “computer” control self- serve taps to over 100 different beers, spirits, wines, ciders and ales. We had their Elk steak and rib-eye and the were perfectly prepared and delicious. We shared a wedge salad that could have served three people! "We’ve had good experiences here in the past, but our server this time provided poor service. When she was there, she was friendly, but we saw her only a handful of times during the 2+ hours we were there. Our requests for replacement cutlery was never fulfilled, our drinks (including water) were never refilled, we had to remind her of our order when only part of it arrived, and she requested we pay when our dessert arrived making us feel very rushed. I recognize that this was a holiday and the restaurant was busy, but the service being provided to tables around us by other servers was vastly superior."

"Was very excited to try this for brunch but it took us 15 minutes to get greeted, 30-40 minutes four our two juices and two coffees and another hour for our very simple breakfast order. The restaurant was not that busy, so it was unfortunate we had to wait this long. Our waiter was courteous and provided updates on the wait time so I do not believe it was his fault. The food was very good, my husband was a little disappointed with his Belgian waffle order. It was a single Belgian waffle with chocolate chips sprinkled on top. I enjoyed the French toast, delicious. Our friends both enjoyed the classic breakfast and the Croque Madame. Overall I think the food was a little overpriced, but would definitely return at night for drinks and the view!"

"Absolutely awful experience. Would rate below 1 star if I could. The food quality was great however the service was horrible. The kitchen closed halfway through our meal without any warning from our server and we were left without the ability to order additional fondue. I also had the unfortunate experience of seeing an employee exit the restroom without washing their hands which is so disgusting. They went straight from a stall to leaving. That could cause sickness. I brought this up to another employee over the phone after our meal and was ignored.Hopefully anyone reading this will take their money and appetite to any of the other nearby restaurants. I will never return here nor would I recommend this place to anyone I know."
