"I saw Mise en Place years ago and my husband made reservations for us to dine there for date night. The experience was incredible! The food was exceptional and was the best food I have ever eaten! The ambience was upscale with very chic and modern decor. All of the waitstaff were beyond attentive with our water glasses never hitting below half. The manager even came by to check on our experience which was thoughtful and lovely. I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher because they hit every mark and beyond. They even offer free parking directly across the street."

"Coming for dinner the day after Christmas. It is a really sweet place with an old timely mood. The food was very tasty, although the portions are quite small. The scallop court is literally a single scallop with a slate. The foie grass was by far the best dish. The pasta with the trout rose was also very delicious. The chocolate creamux Dessert was also really good. Overall a really delicious meal, but came to a high price."

"Amazing food, delicious sushi, wonderful, kind service, wow! I was so glad and thrilled! My favorite roll was the Fall in Love special roll (back of 2nd photo . The bento boxes were so huge! I was not expecting so much tempura with the bulging box, sothat was really great. The Sashimi Deluxe (first picture was such a great, delicious fancy birthday gift! The waiters andmanager were all amazing! They were kind, sweet, funny, and helpful. Such great service. I didn?t get pictures of the inside orvibes but the restaurant layout is beautiful too! "Cho Cho San (Revolving Sushi) in Tarzana has been my go-to since 2005. The recipes are amazing! The flavors, incredible! I 'm writing this because I care! I 'm writing this in hopes that the current management will take note. It 's said that the customer who fails to complain is the most important customer.Again, the food is delicious! Unfortunately, there 's been too much employee turn over. The presentation isn 't what it once was. The portions have gotten smaller. Over time, the best sushi artists left with no forwarding addresses. When the conveyor broke, they stopped getting it repaired. This brought down the already lackluster ambiance. If I 'm bringing sushi home for guests; I will go to the Encino location and have them make the food Tarzana style . Other people do this as well because the Tarzana location is FAMOUS for being the best!I sincerely hope that this place turns around."

"My all time favorite place to eat! I've never had a bad meal, servers are so nice and the portions are just right. We tried the Habachi scallops and the Hibachi steak and chicken combo...absolutely amazing! I've seen that some customers have said the prices are too high. "Came in two nights in a row while I was in town and I was quite impressed with the food and service.Miso soup, Pork Gyōza, and Salmon Roll were great and the Spicy Pork dinner was delicious! The 2nd night, the waitress remembered my order and had my drink out immediately, also overheard her putting down an order for another regular. I reserved a table in OoenTable and was given a table next to kitchen in high traffic area. Other tables were open. I asked for one. They said no. Do yourself a favor and check out the new Sixty Vines opening across the street, or Tommy Bahamas nearby."
