"You cannot be prejudice and violate several food health and safety codes.I understand it is Christmas and it gets busy. However, Christmas comes once a year, every year, for years, so why not prepare for such an influx. That is not the reason for the negative review. When I arrived, there were about 20 people waiting or their food orders, and the place looked chaotic. There is a food section for delivery drivers, which was completely empty. The picture attached to this is the table where they put food when the entire order is not completed. One customer had everything in his order ready, on the table, except for a soup that he had to wait another 30 minutes for. Most of the food in the picture was there before I got there, at 620, that was an hour before the picture was taken(as you can see in the timestamp). No way should there be food left, at room temperature that long. It violates several food health and safety codes, and will definitely be reported, after this post. When cooking, you are supposed to have the pieces of an order come out and ready within a short time period of one another. This was not the case here. There was no care in the world by the staff. After waiting an hour, I asked could the worker check on my order. His reply was, it is busy, so whatever time it says on your order it doesn't matter I explained to him, I am literally asking the exact question that others, (who happen to be white), asked him right before me. His response to them was Ill check to which he proceeded to check. Now, before you all say, I'm throwing out this race card another gentleman received the same response as me by the entire staff. That other gentleman was Chilean. You could hear the sound of defeat in his voice, when he was trying to explain to his wife that no one was trying to help him with his order. Right as he was explaining this to his wife, another customer comes in, and demands that the same worker, who gave me that response, to check on his food. The worker ran back there and checked for him and told him it would come out in five minutes. In five minutes, his food most certainly came out, and I was still waiting. That man happened to be...you guessed it..white. I spoke politely, and asked the same question as everyone else, but was treated worse than someone who was causing a scene and demanding their order. What is the common denominator?Again, I will definitely reach out to local, state and federal food health and safety agencies right now."

"I recently had the opportunity to try a truly unique culinary creation lobster sushi served on a Pringle chip. The moment I laid eyes on this unconventional dish, I was both intrigued and skeptical. However, after taking my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful flavors that unfolded. The combination of the succulent lobster and the crunchy Pringle chip created a remarkable textural contrast that elevated the sushi experience to a whole new level. The Pringle chip acted as a crispy base, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. It also served as an unexpected flavor enhancer, with its subtle saltiness complementing the sweet and delicate taste of the lobster. The sushi itself was expertly crafted, showcasing the culinary skills of the chef. The lobster was incredibly fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Its richness blended harmoniously with the accompanying sushi rice, which was perfectly seasoned. The addition of a touch of wasabi and soy sauce further elevated the overall taste, adding a subtle kick without overpowering the delicate flavors of the lobster. While the concept of serving sushi on a Pringle chip might raise eyebrows, it is a testament to the creativity and innovation of the culinary world. This unconventional twist offers a unique dining experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression. For sushi enthusiasts and adventurous foodies, this lobster sushi on a Pringle chip is a must try fusion delight that pushes the boundaries of traditional sushi."

"I am SO happy I tried this place! I'm definitely not the first to say that there aren't any good Chinese options in Astoria. HOWEVER, Bund on Broadway has saved my Chinese flavor craving taste buds! Since moving to Astoria from eastern Queens I had basically given up on Chinese food because other than this place they're pretty terrible in Astoria. Did I mention their soup dumplings, dim sum, and noodles are hand made?? THE DETAILS: Pan fried pork buns These are REALLY good. The dough is soft but crispy on the bottom (vs other places where it's dried out) and it was literally dripping with the meat sauce when I bit into it. The sauce also wasn't bland like some other places. Dan dan noodles This is so interesting. I've actually never had this noodle dish before so I wanted to try it and the flavor profile is quite unique. Definitely recommend giving it a try! Spicy beef udon noodles My boyfriend loves udon noodles so he opted for this dish. Other than the fact that he said they could have been spicier (but he has a really high spice tolerance) he still said they were REALLY good and this is the only place we can get Chinese food in Astoria (lol) Zongzi (sticky rice with pork wrapped and steamed in a banana leaf) We gave this a try and it was very nostalgic for me. The rice was a little wetter than I'm used to but that might be me thing? Overall very tasty. Wish I got the salted egg one though! Matcha sesame balls filled with red bean paste Oh my gosh I've never had this in matcha form. I always remembered going to dim sum with my family and getting these from the push carts but this is a new take on them. They were still warm when we got them (we did delivery) and they were delicious! If you liked sesame, red bean, and the stickiness of mochi, you will love this dessert! I'll be ordering again to try their cold sesame noodles next! Take my advice and give this place a try (and check out the yummy photos)!"
