"Really love portofino restaurant in bethel ct, we’ve been coming to this location for years, yes we’re locals our favorites are : fried calamari, Cesar salad with grilled chicken was amazing( amazing juicy chard chicken) wifey had beet salad with fried goat cheese, it as spectacular, MiL had Tucson salad has pecans , fig , gorgozola cheese, so delicious . Would highly recommended this location.. Besa was our waitress ,very attentive and pleasant,helpful , very knowledgeable in menu and helpful in helping with recommendations also fun personality."

"We'd eaten upstairs at the formal Mooncusser's before, which was fantastic great food and an elegant setting. But we had not eaten downstairs at the Moon Bar until now. The food downstairs was just as tasty as upstairs, but generally with smaller plates. The selections were very interesting too. We had the ceviche and the poke as appetizers and both were amazing. The fish tacos were also excellent. There is only beer and wine (no hard liquor), but a good selection of both. The Moon Bar is casual, and is mostly set up for couples rather than groups of four or more. Nicely for bar seating, one can make reservations on line. We are definitely going back."
