"Saturdays are for a new restaurant with pozole so decided to give this place a try.Upon arriving, it’s off a busy street and parking is limited so be careful pulling in and out. Was greeted immediately by two lovely girls, told to sit where I wanted and was quickly given a menu and drink order taken.Menu is extensive and didn’t order anything extra other than chips and salsa since that didn’t come free, and pozole.Salsa came out hot (heated) and a good amount of chips. Good salsa, had a molcajete texture. Pozole came out not long after ordering along with radishes, onions and a salad. In addition, I asked for jalapeños and cilantro. I will say, the jalapeños were not fresh, very dry and brown.Pozole was hot and had a good flavor. I did feel there was a good meat and hominy balance too. I will say the broth was very, very greasy.3 additional salsas were brought to the table and I tried them with my chips. All very good. Corn tortillas felt very rubbery, almost kind of old or premade and quickly heated. Only had a piece of one and just resorted to using my chips. All in all, good breakfast. Definitely a new spot for pozole."
